    @Valveta We didn’t host thanksgiving dinner this year at our house, so we didn’t have any left over deserts or anything to temp us.

    This month I’ll be working on healthy snacking, and upping my workouts.

    Today was leg day! Looking forward to tomorrow’s workout, upper body.

    A good solid week for me, very happy with myself! I did well staying under most days, actually got in a couple of walks, and did some stretching.

    I'm not on my goal pace but i am heading in the right direction!

    I can’t believe it’s November 10 already.

    Yesterday was a challenging day. I’m surprised I dropped 3 ounces since yesterday.

    With The daylight savings change where I live the days are getting darker. And it is getting to me plus the room where I am working the floor lamp broke so I’m trying to replace it but I’ve been sitting in the dark for about two weeks and it’s really making me nutty 🥺.

    How’s everybody else doing? I’d like to see your post.

    The week started great, I got my workouts in Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday I had a specialist appointment and that’s a 5 hour drive both ways, so I didn’t get my workout done. And yesterday was a wash recovering from Wednesday’s appointment and drive. I did get a decent workout in today with leg day and 30 mins of cardio. And no late night snacking! So that’s a win!

    @PurpleAshes - I rotate my workouts too. (Upper, lower, core, HIIT, Palates, and Kickboxing) I like the variety and it keeps it interesting. I don't really like to workout but I do it anyway. I'm better with the nutrition part of my journey.
    @JillHK - You're welcome. I do a lot of research for lifetime strategies to keep it off, when I reach my goal. My goal is between 130 lb to 136 lb weight management. 10 years ago I lost 45 lbs. and after I quit smoking I put most of it back on. I don't want that to happen again.
    @jopa17 - Good progress!

    Oops I lost my motivation for a week. All things considered a half a pound is not that bad. Next week is going to be tricky with US Thanksgiving. We’re going to visit family and I’m looking forward to the time together. I’ll try my best to not overindulge.

    @Valveta Thanks for the encouragement. I will be honest-I have struggled the last week with not seeing the scale move how I wanted it to move. I have done well telling myself that the scale is a tool not a dictionary-it doesn't define me. But the last few days I feel the pull of giving up. That is what I typically do, and I don't want to do that anymore.

    @myhands4God - You got this...no regrets.
    @JillHK - I know what you mean. I'm worried I'll overindulge. I need to remind myself about portion size.
    @haslam5, @wilbinsane - Nice loss this week. You're doing great!

    Thanksgiving plan
    *I will eat more of the veggies and lean turkey.(honor the diet)
    *I'm going to pass on all the store-bought stuff.
    *I'm going to have a piece of pie.(honor the feast)
    *I'm going to keep my portions small and eat slowly.
    *I'm going to take a walk after dinner.

    Pretty happy with this past week. I’ve been able to keep my snacking down. I quit smoking weed to keep the munchies away lol. Who’d have thought it would make such a difference 😅
