30 Day Shred Challenge

Ok here it goes, I don't see any other support groups open so I will start one. I just did D1L1 of the 30 day shred this morning, and it felt good! If you would like support doing this and would like to support me(I've never made it through level 1) please join this group. Just enter your

If you would like to do before and after photos or any other tracking information that would be great, just add it to your post.
I will try to make one of those cool tracking spread sheets and we can check in every 10 days(every time we level up). Also post daily encouraging thoughts re: how your work out was that day?

    I started 3 days ago! My measurements really hasnt changed from doing cardio alone and I hope this will be the boost that I need. Any others with similar stats? I found that doing level 1, I only burn 134 cals. A little higher on level 2 but not that much. I need a hrm..

    I need a hrm too.. but from the info I've looked up I burn about 180cals doing 20min.

    i just started this today!! i'm so glad i found this challenge. i did take pictures this morning but i'll wait until the 30 days is over to post before/after. i had a hysterectomy in may and have gained around 15 pounds and around 5" on my waist. i'm DONE gaining....it ends TODAY!

    I don't remember my measurements offhand (I'm at work), but I believe last time I took them (before starting 30DS) were close to the above. I'm on Day 11/Day 2 of Level 2.

  • Im much more motivated now because of joining this group. Ive always just done bits and pieces in the past. I use 5 lb handweights. I feel like theyre easy on some moves but hard on others (i hate shoulder raises). I have 10 lb weights also and switch it up when its like dumbell curls and dumbell press. Day 4 for me today! I feel my stomach is tighter already =)

    day 2 coming up in about 20 minutes. my legs are sore...not as sore as i thought they'd be so i'm sure that means tomorrow will be worse :)
  • Ok, last night I did 30DS L1D1. I thought I would be more sore today. I also did Tae Bo for 40 minutes and L1D1 of the Butt Bible, not really sore except for my back a little bit. Maybe Young9 is right, we will feel it tomorrow? Oh, and since I am a scale freak, I weighed myself this morning, down a few ounces, hope not to gain any....a lot of people have said you gain weight while doing this...

    The only thing I had trouble with is the flapping of the ladies and the twin skin on my belly during the cardio sections! And I want to use heavier weights today.
  • Hello, I actually started yesterday, first day of level 1. I am going to do it everyday with the exception of Tue and Wed,my kids schedules are to hectic so I will go to the gym while my daughter is at dance. I will post my stats after I get them off my board, lol.

    oh my gosh! I wasn't sore all day after D1L1, but i woke up today and my legs back and neck are killin me! I can feel the burn, haha. Gonna have to really push through D2L1
  • I forgot how hard this was to get back into! Geesh, I was shocked how difficult L1 was on the first day- but it feels good! Everyone have agreat Day 2!!
  • Yay i found a challenge that is still open!!!!!!! I have a trip coming up in April to see my family so i figured losing a good about of weight will be a gift for me and a surprise for them and i want to lose and tone at the same time to prevent tons of excess skin. So recumbent bile 30 min in the morning and jillian at night.Here is to my challenge i will post pictures before and after on 10/26/2011.Wish me luck and i wish you all the same.

    This looks great! I was planning on starting tonight anyway. I have started this before but never finished all 30 days. I will update my measurements when I get home.

    I started 30DS last week and made it through one day...that's right, one day. I think I over did the squats because my legs were sore for 4 days straight...I have never been that sore before (and I've done P90 and P90X before).

    I'm happy to report normal levels of soreness today after re-doing L1D1 last night and I'm excited for L2D2 today.
