It's Friday, and I'm finally back down a few pounds. I really want to keep this downward trend. It would be so nice to flirt with 199 by the end of the year.0 -

Nov 10: started back on MFP last week. Was on WW but I couldn’t stick with the plan. I’m scared to weigh myself hence the unknown starting weight. My goals for today are to stick with single portions and drink water. Baby steps.3 -
Welcome, @AliceK813 . My mom did well with WW. I found I couldn't stick with it.
Take this at whatever pace you need to. We're all working to go in the same direction. Wishing you success!

Jumping in late but here we go! My coworkers and I started a 10 week weight loss challenge this past Monday and I'm bound and determined to win the pool...or at least not come in last...haha.
I'm basically just drinking a ton of water, eating veggies for snacks and following a 16/8 intermittent fast schedule. I've been fasting from 6:30pm to 10:30am.
This morning, as I was working in my office (today's a remote day for me), my husband was making a breakfast sandwich for himself. The delicious smells wafting down the hall were k*lling me. He came in for something and I snapped at him. I apologized and said, "Sorry, I'm just hungry right now and I still have two hours to go." He said, "Just eat something and try again tomorrow."
No sir..I won't just "try" again tomorrow. Because when I do that, it turns into trying for 15 years and I'm just done with that!

Nov 1: 193.0 Candy has been everywhere and I have partaken way too much. That is done. My knee is painful w/arthritis onset and that is impacting activity (scary what this portends). Back to better habits. Drink the water!!!
Nov 2: 192.4 Checked the xray results from monday and i'm stage 2 osteoarth in my lt knee. So fedup with more health issues. I'm already doing so much to reduce my probs. Guess this is a cattle prod (in the knee no less) to lose the weight.
Nov 3: 191.4 TGIF My mother is coming this weekend to visit to see Harvey. We usually go out for Sun breakfast. Have to stay on plan while she is here.

Nov 11 188. Been doing doing. Ate some creamy pasta last night and woke up with a headache. But it’s gone now and getting lots of stuff done. Going to Taste of Sams today and hoping to be good. Lol.1 -
@cory17 I’m trying new recipes this month too. I have a ton of recipes on Pinterest I have pinned and haven’t gotten around to it. So this month that is Mondays. New recipe night. 🤞1

I lost .6 lbs this week. I was hoping for 2 lbs but I will take it. I was completely on track with my diet and exercise so I know it will come off eventually. I have started weight lifting at the gym again ( after years of hardly doing any exercise) and walking on the track for a mile. Hopefully I will be down more than .6lbs next week! I also didn't binge on my kids Halloween candy which is a huge accomplishment for me! I hope you are all doing well!2 -

I’ve decided to try intermittent fasting on a 16:8 schedule. This is my first night of fasting. It’s tough because I’m so used to eating nonstop from the time I finish dinner until I go to sleep at night. I know this will take some getting used to.
I'm trying 16:8 too, but only during the week. Then on the weekends, I'm just making sure that I'm drinking a ton of water and not going overboard with eating. You got this!!!

Excellent! And glad to hear you're working your way back to the gym. Please have patience with yourself. As you start lifting and working out, you may see your weight go up a bit before it starts coming down. Don't lose confidence; just keep going with this. You're on the right path.
