Can you keep it going asking ONLY QUESTIONS?

Wasn’t it interesting way to get to see the contrast of the structure and rigidity of federal court against the chaos and disorganization of the state court?0
-
My mother got summoned twice...once on her wedding day, once the day she was due to give birth...can you imagine how "pleased" she was on both occasions?0
-
Did major life events like that not automatically exempt her?!0
-
She was exempted the moment she arrived, but is it possible the current summons verbiage identifying exemptions was added as a result of her informing the murder-trial-judge there was about to be another murder in the courtroom if she wasn't excused?1
-
Isn’t arriving in the middle of all that stressful enough on its own?0

Who knew that today is National Hiking Day in the US?
0 -
Didn't I discover that this morning?0
-
Did you both celebrate by taking a hike?0
-
Didn't I do that the two days prior?0
-
Oh were you celebrating early?0
-
Couldn't you say I was unknowingly celebrating?0
-
Will your routine change now that you know this vital piece of information?0

Did you both celebrate by taking a hike?

On National Hiking Day, is it still an insult to tell somebody to "go take a hike?"1
-
Wouldn’t it call for context if you didn’t want to come off as rude?0
-
Since when do social media posts ever use "context"? Aren't they SUPPOSED to come across as rude and abrasive, until the original author condescendingly explains how the reader is "supposed to read" it? Isn't that why most social media platforms the world over are the way they are? (Could this also explain why I use zero social media except for MFP?)1
-
Don't we have more in common than you would think as this is also my only social media outlet?0
-
And isn’t it a good thing @cmsienk and @frankwbrown know that if I used “take a hike” in the other way, it would be gentle teasing?0
-
@cat0703a, you know you can feel free to tell me to "take a hike", right?
Isn't it the case that the better you know someone, the less likely you are to misunderstand their intent? Don't I recall an email I sent at work being taken as an insult by one person when in fact I was admonishing a second person for doing a task rather than showing the first person how to do it? 🤷♂️

Why do you think the saying is, “take a hike” and not “go for a run”? 🤔0
-
Is it because "go for a run" has a positive connotation while "take a hike" has a negative connotation? Or does "take a hike" have a negative connotation because of the way we use it?0
-
Can we start a new one? How about “Do a 30 min HIIT workout”?0
-
Doesn't roll trippingly off the tongue though, does it?0
-
-
Depending on the company, wouldn't "take a HIIT" spark some confusion?

You do know I live in Colorado, right? Wouldn't my son have a VERY different interpretation than I would when told the same thing?0
-
And I suppose there are several ways to interpret "Rocky Mountain High" as well? 😂0
-
Do you want some Colorado Brownies? 😎0
-
Do they have any 'secret ingredients' ?0
-
Not sure, do you know the secret ingredients?0
