    HI friends,
We are nearing the end of our challenge. And we're also nearing the beginning of the next one!
Thanks for joining me on this journey. I did better this time around than the previous challenges. I saw the scale move, and I feel better emotionally about my job which helps me have a more happy life.

    8/1 206 lbs
    8/26 201 lbs
    9/5. 201 lbs
    9/12 200.8 lbs
    9/15. 200.1. lbs
    9/26 200.6 lbs
    10/15 196.4 lbs
    10/28 198.4 lbs.

    Loss this round: 7.6 pounds

    Wow! You did great!

Also, thank you for posting the link to the next round.

I am a 5'3" retiree and started tracking again with MFP in January 2022.
My final goal weight is 145.

Highest weight as of 1/3/22: 230 lbs

Previous weight as of Oct 27: 156.7

    Nov 4: 156.5
    Nov 9: 154.7

I'm super excited to finally reach 75 lbs lost! Less than 10 lbs to go before I reach my final goal and this is my lowest weight in over 15 years.

This is the most I've dropped in one week for quite some time. I've been fighting with the same 2 lbs since the end of May but I dare to hope that I've finally broken that plateau.

    Have a great week!

    Challenge Goal: 3 lbs (153.5)
    Challenge Actual: 2 lbs

I'm immensely grateful to you for creating these challenges and keeping the discussions going on. Also, thank you all for this positive journey for our healthy living goals. I call it healthy living because in the process of losing weight, I started realizing how much mother nature has given us to eat, and how adding more natural foods in our diet takes care of so many health problems.
I joined these challenges exactly an year ago, when I couldn't get into any of my new clothes for a festival, and ended up wearing the loosest outfit.
In the last one year, I have made steady progress, from -
    1) counting my calories,
    2) to becoming aware of what I was eating,
    3) to coming to a stage where I am fully aware of what I should eat
    4) buying only limited grocery items
    5) keeping my fridge empty of unnecessary food items.
The results of this last one year's "aware eating" have been very pleasant for me.
I have lost 20 pounds in this whole year.
Six months ago, I had purchased a top which fitted me perfectly, today, it was hanging on my shoulders and felt like two sizes bigger.
I'm really, really happy of this journey. It has made me more positive, so I'll join the next challenge too.
    Thank you everyone.

Weight is back up again but it's no surprise. I've been sick so have been slacking on my exercise as well as not eating as healthy as usual. Plus, lots of soup = way too much sodium .

I'm feeling much better and got in a nice long cardio session this morning. I'll be eating everything I enjoy for the holiday today but in small portions.

Hope all of you in the USA have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!! I'm so happy to be on this journey together. I have been scared to weigh myself but will on Monday. I worked out yesterday so that's a positive. I drank wine- that's a negative. Too much sugar.

Today, I plan on eating sensibly and taking my time. Savor each bite.
