Current mini-goal is to drop 5 more lbs in the next 3 weeks. There's a Christmas party coming up and I want to turn heads 😉.

my overall goal is to reach 60kg through a combination of diet plan and exercise. i would like to be my ideal weight by the beginning of March my mini is to reach 63 kilos by mid January so that i am comfortable for my skiing holiday. My goal this week is to drink 2 litres of water each day. 10k steps and remind myself everyday that I deserve to lose weight and that I love myself enough and i dont need extra snacks to tell myself i love myself!8

My hiking trousers can almost be buttoned… waiting for that day with bated breath - I believe it’s about 5 kg away if I recall correctly.8

To lose 1.2kg to be below 105kg8

Updating with new goals! I can now grasp the pull up bar and do FOUR leg lifts. My next goal is of course to do five. My goals for December are to do three PSMF - protein sparing modified fasts per week and two days of OMAD - one meal a day with a cap at 1400 calories. The other two days I'll eat up to 2000 calories per day. I hope that by the end of December I've lost four pounds and dropped in my measurements.5

My mini goal rn since starting 3 weeks ago is to have lost 5% of my starting weight, which was 348, so 17 lbs. I have 2 more lbs to go!11

Not exactly mini, but I’m on leave from work and want/need, when I return in five weeks, to be able to fit into some of my normal pairs of pants. For the last two years, I’ve been living in bamboo, elastic-waistband pants. They’re very comfortable, but winter is coming and lightweight bamboo ain’t gonna cut it. If I can drop another 5-6 pounds by then, I think this can happen.11

@VeebsKale - you know Mikki recommends no more than 5 in a fortnight right? Nice to find another PMSF-er on MFP though!

5lbs sounds like a good mini goal to me. At a lb a week it sounds very possible too5 -
2.6kg to go to be under 100kg... Hoping to reach it before the end of the year!
Completed as of last weekend, finally into the double digits!! Next mini-goal will be to reach 97kg, which will mark 25kg lost in total. I'm also going to try to start swimming once a week... Once I get over the fear of wearing a bathing suit 😅11 -
@Caeli11 Congrats on meeting your goal way early!
I started going to the pool this summer, when I weighed right around 113kg (and I’m fairly short). I know what you mean about that fear of wearing a bathing suit, but honestly: just go! It feels so good to be in the water, and trust me you won’t be the only one carrying some extra weight. It doesn’t matter at all, enjoy the swimming 🏊 It really helps with the weight loss too (I’m down to about 97 lbs now, myself).9 -
Trying to get down to 149 lbs by Christmas to make it an even 90 lbs weight loss! I've gotten as low as 150.4!12

Super stoked to be under 180lbs for the first time in 20 years. 188.0lbs today!!10

Update: After a week of being taunted by the scale, I finally hit my first mini goal of losing 5%! My next mini goal is 10%. 🙌12

Keeping my insulin dose to 30 units or below, I've done it for 3 days now! My biggest goal is to get my a1c below 7 before January if possible, or as close to it. Frozen and slightly thawed Glucerna Creamy Strawberry is my go-to treat. I'm lucky in one regard, Covid19 wiped out my taste buds and sense of smell in early 2020, and they never totally recovered, so the frozen diabetic friendly shake tastes like ice cream to me7

My very mini Mini-Goal: To track all of my food and exercise for one week. My big picture goal is to reduce my A1c by reducing my weight. But right now I'm not trying to reach any goals other than tracking. When I track, I naturally make better movement and dietary choices without even thinking about it. But doing something out of habit, like tracking, is very hard for me.
I am in the same boat! I was so thrilled because for three days in a row my insulin dose was only 30 units! Tracking is hard, I agree, but like most habits, if you keep at it for 2 or 3 weeks it becomes second nature. I put MyFitnessPal on my phone, I can hardly read it, but the icon is there to remind me. Keep at it! Diabetes sucks, but it is also a blessing because it forces us to take control of our health, not take it for granted. Good Luck!!!!8 -
My goal right now is to feel better physically. I just want to stop feeling so tired and breathless. Heart palpitations and anxiety is scaring me1. So I have drastically changed my diet. No junk food, no refined sugar, no bakery, no fried stuff. I eat clean and healthy + OMAD/IF. I just want to feel physically better 😞11

Mini goal Motivation is to lose 3 lbs. Get back at my lowest weight this year. I was 132.2lbs and gained three lbs for 135.2...135.2 isn't so bad but I rather be back at my lowest. Where I had a bit less fat. Can see where I gained it. Which is of course in my belly for the most part.8

My mini goal is to NOT exceed my high weight on January 1, 2023 all year. So far, I'm on schedule. AND ... November 1 to December 31 is my nemesis each year. Only 21 days to go!!!!
My second mini goal is to start January 1, 2024 NOT needing to start a new weight loss goal. Maintenance is tough.8
