Or am I too old to know what that means?
However, haven't I become familiar with people using acronyms like DH, DW, DSD, DIL, etc. in these threads? So, at the risk of embarrassing myself, should I hazard a guess and say "15 yo Dear Daughter"?
    Do I win a prize?

Can you explain all those acronyms to me? 🤔

You mean dear husband, dear wife, dear stepdaughter, daughter-in-law, et cetera? Aren't there many many more?

Isn't it only context in many cases that allows me to decipher these acronyms? 🤔

And will you accept my apologies for inquiring about your cooking skills, @PBRexpert77 ?

Would you believe I would? What kind of man can't grill?

Would you still have to talk to them?

Wouldn’t it make it easier if I had to say one thank you instead of 25?

Have you ever watched an online video where a military member who's been deployed arrives unexpectedly, causing their family member(s) to freak out? Can you imagine the degree of freaking out at my house when my Army son rang our doorbell unannounced last night, after telling us for weeks he would not be able to come home for Christmas?

In that case, couldn't the D be short for some other word, like Dumb, Damn, Dorky, Dufus,...? 😂
