The left was me at my heaviest 205 lbs 5”7 and 24 years old. On my right 164, 25 years old. It really got me when a former student of mine saw me and said “Miss you look 15 years younger” I hadn’t realized how much my weight was holding me back from being an effective and energetic teacher, plus in my personal life. It is extremely hard day in and day out. But I try my hardest to make every day one that will last a lifetime.

Thank you !! I set a calorie goal of 1,400 a day. On Sundays i usually will go up to 1,600-1,800 as I leave room for “treat” meal, not a treat day. My routine is 30 min cardio 2 days a week and 10 min the rest of the week days. Strength training 5 days out of the week. I do not drink anything that is not water, unless it is part of my treat meal on a Sunday (this is just a personal choice). I mostly try to enjoy things I like but in small quantities. I generally speaking stopped eating fast food, such as McDonald’s and such. Health is just as important to me as “losing weight” is. I tend to stay off red meat and stick to chicken and turkey, eggs. I like a lot of protein in my diet, but carbs are just as important. It’s all about a balance, essentially (I don’t count macros and micros) All within my 1,400-1,800 calorie deficit.

You look great! Keep up the good work!
I'm glad to hear you eat a balanced diet and were still able to lose weight. I don't like to eliminate complete food groups from my diet. It's wonderful losing weight, but to be truly healthy, I believe it's good to get all the nutrients our bodies need.
I also like a lot of protein in my diet but I also include carbs (mainly in the form of veggies, berries and citrus). Oh and I like to include healthy fats (extra-virgin olive oil, avocados and avocado oil, salmon, chia seeds, walnuts). The last two years I lost 30 pounds in about four months each year. But I gained it back because I tend to enjoy my cocktails. Boy, that habit will sure put the weight on! I'm working on giving that up (hopefully for more than four months this time).
You've really given me motivation. I'm going to try your nothing but water diet Thank you!1
