The "Dad Bod" title of this thread is very misleading.

Dad bodies aren't hard bodies. They aren't gym bro fit. But they aren't obese either.

Dad bods have normal to slim arms and legs, but the torso is softer and less defined. They can even have a slight belly.

Dad bods have fewer sharp edges and aren't 'cut'.

Many women are attracted to dad bods. It's a body that says I still care about how I look but I'm not spending 3 hours at the gym today. A dad bod is a owned by a guy who usually has better things to do than be at the gym 24-7, but he's still a guy that can go for a hike with you without dying.

Dad bod guys are usually comfortable with their life and body.

Right. That's what I thought when I first clicked on this thread months ago.

I prefer the MFP version of "dad bod" that is displayed in this thread.

(So guys just keep doing what your doing😎and keep posting.)

    Looking good guys.

Technically, anyone who is a dad owns a dad bod. Ascribing negative character traits to someone simply based on their appearance always says more about the person casting aspersions.

Love when this thread is active and all dad bods welcome.

    Amen. 🙏

I figured out the reason my photos never satisfy me...shadows. Without shadows, there's no visual context for depth perception, so everything looks flatter. My eye in the mirror sees shadows, while my camera works to eliminate them.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Of course, I could also keep my shirt on and go the route of @animalrane2316. I wanna grow up to be like him! (Only 3 more years in my case...better get to work!)

This is a legit thing... My goal is to look as good in real life as the mirrors and lighting in the gym make me look... lol #facts

I love my image in the mirror, but in a camera lens, not so much.
