Happy New Year!
I am really trying to make an effort this year. Peri menopausal weight is just sticking to me. My gut health is horrible and drinking wine is out of control. I am on a journey to my 50th and feeling my best! Focusing on eating better. Moving more; even though my job is physical, I want to make an effort to go for more walks and strength train 2-3 x a week. Lots of goals but I believe they are all attainable with motivation.

Thank you, @enlightenme3 !
I'm Chris - 73 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion...
...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.

I lost 4lbs in November's challenge, and another 2lbs in December's... but I completely relaxed from around the 18th December.
So I have returned to my Nov start weight. That's ok - it's temporary and I know that if I return to time-restricted eating and cut out chocolate I can can get back to 144 and then keep going until I reach my ultimate goal weight of 140lbs by summer.
Wishing everyone luck!

43yo married female from Canada. With Friday weighins. I'm actually in process of switching back to my old account but waiting for a volunteer moderator to delete all my old posts first - so far my discussions are gone but still waiting on them to delete my replies.
I'm still waiting to see where my 'baseline' is going to settle. The holiday nonsense water weight/bloat etc has got to be coming to an end soon! By Jan 12th I will have settled on a final goal weight for the month.

Ok.....so I'm off to a little bit of a rough start this first week. I meal planned and cooked nutritious and pre-portioned meals......then my boss decided to surprise us with a pizza party. I'm not one to fall for peer pressure; but, I didn't want to be "that person", especially since there were only four of us, and my boss was trying to do a nice thing. I considered the situation before diving in and I elected to eat two slices at lunch and one leftover slice at the very end of the day. Then...they decided to leave all of the leftover pizza sitting in my office. LOL (I'm a firefighter and had to look at the pizza for a couple of days.) So I ate two more slices yesterday as well.
I am not going to beat myself up. The good news is that I had enough self-awareness to recognize the situation. Two more days may not be enough to salvage the situation before the next check-in on Monday; but, at least now I have an opportunity to correct my course.5 -
***Update****
Hi! I am a 35 year old female and wife/mom of two. I used myfitnesspal religiously to lose about 30 pounds back in 2019 about a run of depression. I am hoping to lose about 15-20 before summer while also training for a half marathon (and while training, I also struggle more to lose weight than when I just don't run at all *sigh*). I should mention I am only 5'4 and have a small frame, so any extra weight really shows on me.

Total loss for January: Well whadaya know.... I lost 1.4 pounds this week - much more if you just look at one-day scale weight, but I don't really look at that. If the trend continues, that's good. To put it in perspective, I'm actually UP 0.8 pounds over two weeks. Then again, I'm actually down the same 1.4 since December 6. Yep. Up and down. That's what they call maintenance, right?
The year is still new. I'm sticking to it; I hope you will too!

Still getting over a pretty good head cold and cough so food has been a little challenging. Did make to make a couple of dinners with fresh lean protein and vegetables anyway. Also just found out my DHโs labs came back at the low end of a diabetic level. Weโre both going to see a dietitian to learn about healthier eating patterns although I know what they are as Iโve followed WW and MFP for many years. He still likes pancakes, pizza and sweets at his age (over 70) and is a temptation for me at times. That is ending as he is now committed to different eating styles. We are back to salmon, chicken, eggs, soups, nuts, and berries this week along with small portions of complex carbs. Baby steps.

My husband is diabetic as well. You can use Almond Flour to make healthier pancakes for diabetics when the urge hits.. Using almond flour instead of regular flour is a great way to reduce the carbs in baking recipes, but you need to experiment a lot to get the consistency right.3 -

Weight in blue makes me blue because itโs a gain. Weight in fuchsia pink makes me feel cheery because itโs a loss. Weight in black means no change.
01/01-181.6-(Trend Weight: 180.3)- Good luck everyone in the new round and in the new year! Remember, I am always in your corner and am one of your biggest cheerleaders. Lets take 2024 by storm!
01/07-183.0-(Trend Weight: 181.3)- Pizza yesterday that didnโt help my cause but I managed to keep it under my allotted calorie and carb limits. I did get off my lazy you-know-what and get some exercise in. Today I will work to improve my diet choices. The holidays are over and itโs time to get into the swing of things again. Itโs been a bad week. I am aiming for a good week going forward.

I've been off the wagon since Summer 2022 and I've gained back about 25 pounds. I'm still 14 pounds below my all time high of 194.7 in April 2020. I stress ate for 9 months, switched jobs and continued indulging because hey, I like food. My goal is to rediscover moderation and get back into weighing and tracking calories because that works best to keep myself accountable.

Am managing my 10,000 steps per day largely via around 60 minutes on the treadmill!
Have been slightly lax with recording my calories throughout the day, and have been trying to log at night when I realise, which means I may be missing some items I have consumed.
Have managed a good weight loss though, so I am happy - if I keep this weekly loss up, we should be on track to hit our monthly goal!!!7
