YOUR CHALLENGE STARTING WEIGHT FOR THIS CHALLENGE: 195.6 lbs, January 1, 2024
YOUR CHALLENGE WEIGHT LOSS GOAL: 184.5 lbs (roughly 1 pound a week)

    January 1: 195.6 lbs
January 8: 196.6 lbs It started snowing, so I had a lazy weekend. I did get my workouts in, but not to the level that I usually expect from myself.
    January 15: 193.8
    January 22: 193
January 29: 194.6 (end of the month is always hard due to female fluctuations that occur). Here to hoping I can catch up in February to meet my overall goal.)

    January 31st: 193.6

    January Goal: 191.6 lbs
    January Actual: 193.6
January Loss: 2 LBS (slow progress. But at least it’s progress— this would be 23LBS total… Not bad for a full time working 50ish year old)

And I am changing my weigh in day to Fridays…. Weighing in on Mondays (after a weekend 🤔)

February 2: 196.8 (started a new heavy workout routine a week ago…I think my body is retaining water for muscle healing/growth🤞well this is what I am hoping as I feel really good)

So as expected ToM came and with it the whoosh of what I was supposed to have lost last week and this week. From last whoosh it's down 3 kg. This is more than my goal is i feel that eating 1930 cal is fairly ok during the week but on weekends I tend to need a bit more. Because I do love my treats.

I don't have premium so I can't get the app to tell me 1930 Sunday -thursday and 2400 Friday and Saturday is good but I am going to try that out going forward. Because I really don't need to lose almost a kg a week.

We have had a lot of weather this week. At one point we were told to have everything prepared for a prolonged period of power failure. But it didn't happen a few hurricane strength gusts has been measured but I feel that they were not as bad as previous years where we live. But places close by has had more.

YOUR CHALLENGE STARTING WEIGHT FOR THIS CHALLENGE: 206
YOUR CHALLENGE WEIGHT LOSS GOAL: 195 - 11 pounds

    January 1: 206

January 8: 206 I did great all week until the weekend and then overate yesterday. Disappointing! The first anniversary of my DH death is coming up on March 9. This month marks his rapid decline. Many memories and most are sad and unpleasant.

    January 15: 206.8

January 22: 206.8 Went up last week and stayed the same, now to bring it down. My special needs daughter had lithotripsy (sound waves) to remove a kidney stone yesterday. It's been a very stressful last few days with that and freezing rain that made driving to the hospital very tricky.

January 29: 205.6 I haven’t felt the best this week with suffering vertigo from BPPV. Still managed a loss. Only lost .4 for the month but at least the number is down and not up.

    January Goal: 203
    January Actual: 205.6
    January Loss: .4

February 5: 207.4 Well this is not good! Gotta watch what I’m doing, too many calories and not enough exercise.

@Cheery83 I do not have the premium MFP either. However, I do zig-zag my calories from day to day. You just need to go back to the goals tab located at the top and change what your calories will be for the day. I wish you could do it for the whole week at one time but you can't. You need to do it daily but it it's quick and simple. It will adjust your macros automatically with the new calorie input. However, you can even change them up too if you like. I change my calories every single day on the zig-zag diet. I hope this helps.
