Hey guys! Things have been CRAZY for me since I completed W5 D2 I haven't had the chance to complete it. I planned on doing it last night and one thing after the other I didn't do it. And tonight my son has a dentist appt and we are taking him out for supper so I don't think I will have a chance to do it again today. My question is do I continue or should I stop and start all over when I do have the chance to?

My two cents: I would say keep going and don't stop. Pick up where you left off. I just finished W5/D2 & D3 on yesterday. Either today or tomorrow I will begin Week 6. Sometimes things happen to slow us down, but WE CANNOT BE STOPPED!!! Do what you can, when you can and KEEP IT MOVING!!!!! .... in my opinion.

I agree 100% Just keep moving...keep going...I had to stop for a week due to shin splints but I picked up right where I left off. You'll feel better at the end knowing you did every single day!!! We can do this...it's hard to make time some days. I have realized that I HAVE to get up in the morning to get my run in. Now that I know I can do it, I don't mind so much. It feels good and I am hooked on the feeling of pride when I am done. We can do this...we WILL do this.

Ok Ladies, completed W6/D1 yesterday. Planning on training during lunch today. I will let you know once done!

Hey girlie!! I'm here!! Still moving...just started W7D1. 4 weeks til my first 5k! Then Nov 6th is a 5 mile Autumn Leaves Run! So excited and anxious. Trying to keep my running to 3 days per week...still plagued by shin splints. Icing them every day. I won't be stopped though. After my races I will move to the elliptical until I completely heal then start 10k training.
Funny thing happened today....I haven't ran since Tuesday (resting my shins) the weekend has been crazy and I was desperate to run..like an obsession almost. Due to the ENORMOUS amount of rain we've had here in Ohio I couldn't run outside today...to jump on the treadmill. Did my 30 min and stretched for awhile..I cannot tell you how much better I felt. It was like a faucet opened up in my brain and ALL the stress and tension completely emptied out. Sigh....yeah THAT was good.
I hope all you girlies are doing well....keep going WE can do this...

Ok my Beautiful Lady P's, today is a new day, yesterday's gone and so are all my excuses as to why I did not get the things done I wanted to. I'm only focusing in on today. What about you? So what if you're still in Week 4 or 5. Pick up where you left off. It's so important to do this for YOU!!! No one else, okay!
The sun's beaming outside and within me, so I don't have any reason not to go out for a run. Who's joining me today? Anybody? I dare you! I double dare you!!! I triple dare you!!!
Oh ........ you can only run for 5 minutes? 6 or 7 perhaps? How about just 10 minutes? Whatever you've got, give it to me!!! Run the 5, 6, 7 or 10 minutes today. JUST DO SOMETHING!!! OK?

Week 7 is done.... Week 8 is about to begin. Ran 3.1 miles on Saturday in 44 min I can do it...now I'm gonna work on my time a little. Hope everyone is still kickin it!!!0
