Do you know how surprised I am that she hasn’t checked in here? 😅

Who is this “she” we’re discussing and how can we be certain she’s not lurking?

@srazamora, has it been ~2000 questions for me? 😅

Is he related to the mean giraffe?

Did I miss something or is this a movie reference going over my head, @cmsienk ?

Aren’t you safe from movie quote references this time? Isn’t the giraffe a sometimes questioner who visits here to cause trouble? While I’m hesitant to tag her here, wouldn’t her username reference a childhood “toy” you may have had where you put dresses on the person using little tabs to hold it on?

Well if there are 5,087 pages worth of questions and X questions per pages, then would….?—WAIT, how did you trick me into doing math?

How did I manage to miss a troublemaker?

@srazamora Ewwww, who would make you do math on a Friday?? 😂

Perhaps you miss where she is being a troublemaker, but if I share page 5007 with you, perhaps you'll figure out who we are discussing?

You mean not everybody loves math and takes every opportunity to engage in it? 🙂
(Don't I suspect that's because their introduction to it did not expose it's inner beauty to them?) 🤔

@frankwbrown wasn't that a bit tongue in cheek of me since 90% of my work is somewhat math related. ;)

Does this count as math: “me + math = 🤯”?

Aren’t we questioning every time we post? 😜

Oh, were you able to figure out to what (or whom) "Did she though" referred?

Are you afraid she's like the Candyman, say her name three times in front of a mirror and she'll appear to get you?

Wasn’t I wondering if it was the last question on the previous page, where my lengthy experience as an exemplary question asker was mentioned and if so why there was doubt being expressed? 🤨

Speaking of math (well you were, at one point 🙂), is everyone familiar with the Fibonacci sequence, the series of numbers where each number is the sum of the two preceding numbers (e.g. 0,1,1,2,3,5,8,13,...)? And how prevalent it is, both in Nature and as the basis for the Golden Ratio (aka Golden Rectangle) that's so well known in the Art world? Shouldn't that be taught in grade school?

Have you ever counted the clockwise and counterclockwise spirals in a pinecone, seashell or sunflower?

Have you never watched "The Da Vinci Code" where it's mentioned in-movie?

Wasn't there a time when I hadn't heard of it, despite having majored in mathematics?
Wouldn't I be disappointed only if you found the Fibonacci sequence boring?
If you do choose to count the spirals in a pinecone or sunflower, wouldn't I bet you'd find the number of spirals in one direction versus the other to be, depending on size, 5 & 8, or 8 & 13, or 13 & 21, or even 21 & 34 (I mean, how big is that sunflower)? Wouldn't that surprise you?

Didn't I have to refresh my memory? Doesn't this clip mention it at 2:12-4:00?
Isn't it funny that Hanks has to take out a piece of paper, when it's easy enough to start with 1 and 1, and find each subsequent number by adding the last two - 1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21...?
(Wouldn't I have been inclined to start with 0 and 1, but then wouldn't it need to be 9 or 11 digits, not 10 digits, to include the entirety of the last Fibonacci number?)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VROcMiHRJpc

And doesn't this mention fail to enlighten the viewer of the significance of the Fibonacci sequence?
Isn't that what I find a bit disappointing?

Is anyone else disappointed that something they had planned to do today was cancelled on account of rain? ☹️

Won't I probably just have an ordinary day of exercise, but haven't I gone down a rabbit hole re: Fibonacci and the Golden Ratio? Isn't that something I'd call "fun" but many others might not?
But for anyone whose curiosity has been piqued, aren't these just a few of the many interesting YouTube videos pertaining to Fibonacci?:

Weren’t my plans to walk with sand between my toes slightly changed due to there being very little beach and crashing waves?

Wouldn't that be infinitely better, even without the sand between your toes, than the boring walk I'm about to go on here, before it rains later today?

Wasn't my plan A, a hike at Point Reyes National Seashore, cancelled due to rain?
Didn't my plan B, a boring walk in the park before the rain and prior to water aerobics, fall through as well, when the "afternoon" rain arrived too early?
Didn't I have to improvise a plan C, which was to swim before water aerobics and then take a very boring walk/run on a treadmill?
On the up side, wasn't it plenty warm enough?
