I rucked with about 5kg for 1 minutes and found it a lot more challenging than I was expecting! I used to walk around with an extra 20kg!12

Went out dancing this last weekend and wasn't a sweaty mess.17

I was at the gym today. I made progress and improved my performance on some exercises. That's expected. I added a few exercises, and that was nice too. All it all it was a good day. But that's not my NSV.
When we show up, we give the staff our member number so they can check us in. There's a clipboard to write your number down if they're busy. No big deal.
Well, when I arrived today and greeted the staff person, they called me by name and welcomed me in. I didn't have to give my number. I am going often enough that the recognize me. THAT is the NSV today!23 -
I went cross country skiing twice today, totalling about 13 km. I think the most I’ve done in a day previously is 9km. Today was approaching the edge of my current ability, but a good baseline for the future.
And I went around parts of the trail that we’ve previously deemed too difficult for me ☺️20 -
Scrolling through YouTube
How to hide a big tummy
How to dress an apple shaped body
How to camouflage large thighs
I just realized I don't need to hide anything any more. (Well, maybe a little) I can look at ALL THE CLOTHES.18 -
Two today: got out for a full-moon-lit stroll with my pup, covered 3.25 miles and feel great. Also had a healthy breakfast afterwards, and logged. All this despite scale-fail this week, so I'm kind of proud of myself. Staying on the horse no matter what.

My NSV is that after a week of careful logging last week I didn’t lose an ounce. Not an single ounce. The NSV is that Im still here and still logging. I know how my weight loss works. One week I’ll lose then next I won’t( or I’ll hardly lose anything) In the past I’ve given up when I’ve logged for a week and lost nothing, but I’m still here and still logging.28

I got a fun notification this morning. After 2193 days of logging, I saw this today:

I got out of the grocery store without buying the pack of cookies I have bought each of the last 3-4 (or more?) weeks! This was one of my goals for the week, so I am proud of myself.19

Congratulations. That's a big one. I don't buy junk food when doing weekly shopping. My rule for myself is, go out and get a single serving if you can't withstand the craving. With few exceptions, my laziness overrides my craving and I skip getting that single serving entirely.
Every day I log in here after not meeting my goal *or* maintenance is an NSV for me.9 -
I always used the handicap toilet stalls because I really was uncomfortable in the regular stalls. My hips were just too wide. But now my hips are narrow enough that the regular stalls are comfortable.26

I lost a clothing size because of walking and tracking my calories! Yay23

OH I love this! My recent NSV is that my resting heart rate is down to 68bpm!14

Since my major 80 pound weight loss four years ago, I just ran my 50th 5K race and 84 total races of varying distances. (Including a Half Marathon.)
I have also completed 3 Super Sprint, and 9 Sprint Triathlons!
In December I dieted down to a 90 pound total weight loss just to see if I could do it. I also hit 13% body fat! Crazy as it is, I am now in the middle of a three month "bulk" and have gained 20 pounds. Come April 1st I will switch to "cutting" and shed the weight again but retain the additional muscle mass!
Stay with it!!!23 -
✨✨✨New measurements are in!✨✨✨ Almost 2 months’ worth of progress: I lost 🌟 1.5” from my chest 🌟 1” from my waist 🌟 5” from my stomach/hip 🌟 1.5” from my stomach/butt 🌟 0.3” from my thigh and 🌟 0.5” from my calf. As I thought last time I took my measurements, my shape is now changing more at my center than at my neck, arms, and legs (where the most drastic initial weight loss happened).26

Feeling good lately about being back in control of my body, rather than letting mood be in control. It still takes over some, but I'm making progress.15

Had cabbage and tuna salad with a fibre one brownies and sugar free energy drink instead of a subway sandwich and a donut. Probably saved 500+ calories.18

I'm still trying. That's it--and it's a lot, for me.27
