    Write what you know. Use your own voice. That is always more successful and believable whether you are writing someting realistic or something set in outerspace. If you can't believe it your reader can't. Can't share ideas as I am working on two right now myself. Try taking a creative writing class for more ideas. Also there are alot of books on the subject like Writing for Dummies. Good Luck.

    Fiction or non-fiction? I used to want to write a book too when I was a teenager, but I had horrible ideas at the time. :-)
