    I'm Chris - 74 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion...
    ...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.

    I lost a bit of weight by changing my habits eating at restaurants. I only eat out if I am with others and just get one entrée, no sides.
    I quit drinking cream/sugar after 2 cups of coffee..most days
    I've been trying to eat breakfast most days, but haven't noticed any differences.
    Also, I have been eating 2 bean or legume dishes per week and not noticed any difference in my weight.
    Trying to figure out what small changes I can make to drop these last 10 pounds without counting every calorie!
    I'm going to eat a peanut butter sandwich and small salad every day for lunch this week!!!

    My name is Donna. I am 63 years old and I live in the Midwest of the US. I am 5’ 5” tall.


    CHALLENGE STARTING WEIGHT (FROM March 31st): 179.6
    CHALLENGE TOTAL WEIGHT LOSS GOAL: Total Loss of 12 pounds to land at 167.6

    Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!

    04/01-DNW-(Trend Weight: DNW)- Easter dinner was at Golden Corral all-you-can eat buffet. I didn’t need to weigh to know I overate and gained.

    04/08-DNW-(Trend Weight: DNW)- I hate that I couldn’t weigh again but I have a foot and lower leg injury that put me to the ER Saturday. I have a club foot right now and my entire right foot and lower leg is HUGE with swelling and fluid. Any weight I would get would be wrong, big and skewed so there is no point until this swelling goes down. I also want any losses in the future to be true losses, not just this known fluid. I can’t exercise right now which also affects things. I am, however, doing some chair yoga with upper body, mainly arms just to get some sort of calorie burn in but it’s so minimal I’m sure. Very disappointing. Anyway, have a great week everyone and for those of you in the path of the eclipse, enjoy and keep those eyes safe!
