    When I was a teenager, my siblings and I asked our mother how it felt to be old[-er]. She responded, "I feel the same as when I was in my 20's." I couldn't understand that then, but I do now: I'm the same young person in an old person's body! 😂 (almost 75 year-old body in my case) 😩

    Time truly does fly! My husband's grandmother is going to be 92 this year! She says the same thing, that she does not feel near her age. She still does her yard work on her own, drives and does everything for herself. I can only hope to be like that when/if I ever get to that age.

    04/01-DNW-(Trend Weight: DNW)-

    04/08-DNW-(Trend Weight: DNW)- I hate that I couldn’t weigh again but I have a foot and lower leg injury that put me to the ER Saturday. I have a club foot right now and my entire right foot and lower leg is HUGE with swelling and fluid. Any weight I would get would be wrong, big and skewed so there is no point until this swelling goes down. I also want any losses in the future to be true losses, not just this known fluid. I can’t exercise right now which also affects things. I am, however, doing some chair yoga with upper body, mainly arms just to get some sort of calorie burn in but it’s so minimal I’m sure. Very disappointing. Anyway, have a great week everyone and for those of you in the path of the eclipse, enjoy and keep those eyes safe!

    04/15-182.4-(Trend Weight: 181.8)- This month is horrid. It is FILLED with travel which really hurts my bottom line for all the normal reasons (restaurant foods and sitting, sitting, sitting). Last week’s travel killed my progress and sent me spiraling backward and this upcoming week’s travel is even further, longer and worse. Let’s just hope I get a good report from the Cancer Center at the University Hospital as something suspicious is being reinvestigated later this week. It’s been a long 6 months waiting for them to re-test and compare. I am already a cancer patient in remission. I appreciate all the prayers.
