Yesterday I had all three sons in a video chat. Athena and I were making funny faces at each other, then we cheered Eli scooting on his belly periodically doing grand face plants on the carpet!😁😂😂. It was a awesome afternoon!💖🤗

I am MIA for a day and WOW!
So I did leave work early yesterday and went to Peru (Indiana) for a friend's surprise party. SIL had said I couldn't go if we were busy.....She was gone Tuesday for 2 hours to get her new car, Wednesday all day to watch a baby even though it was just DH and I at shop. I handled it just fine in spite of having a record day. On Thurday, she was gone 2 hours to help her ex take his new puppies to the vet. On Friday, she left at 4:30 to "go to the bank" aka going home afterwards. Yes, I left 2 hours early on Saturday!!!!! They really weren't busy in my opinion. The most customers they had at once was 3-LOL! I had a lovely time at the party. I drove my Miata even though it was too cold to put the top down. It is a 3 hour drive one way. On the way home, I did suffer from SEVERE toe/foot/calf cramps. First the left leg on the country roads. Kicked off shoe and did lots of stretching and turning for about 15 mins before it went away. Then just as I crossed into OH on the highway, the right leg had to copy!!! Thank goodness for cruise control! This time lasted more than 20 minutes. I was cursing and crying. Not nearly enough water, no real food, and hadn't taken my magnesium for a couple of days. Mia (the Miata) is rough riding on rough roads, otherwise it was a great trip mentally! Just me, Grey bear, and my Ipod music.
Actually slept 8.5 hours last night! I average 6. Had a massage to make up for missed one in March. She did a number on my feet, legs, and buttocks. I then decluttered house, caught up check books and bills, sorted through my pile of papers on the pool table, filed the papers that have been sitting on top of DH's wardrobe for 6 weeks (I hate the file cabinet), made chili for dinner, cleaned up kitchen, went to really cold cruise in with grand daughter. She did a thing

This is her with her new Mustang. She turns 21 next month, has a learner's permit, and just bought a car that is the same age as her. She is so proud! Her Papaw wishes that she had included him in the search so that she had had some guidance in her purchase, but that didn't happen. She is happy and hopefully her dad didn't steer her wrong. My son in law doesn't have a great track record with buying vehicles.......
Oh, and I cleared off my night stand. Busy and productive day.

Rita Red is overwhelmed with all the people and conversations going on. She is curious as she notices all the note taking and flitting about. She is ready to jump to help Cinderella get presentable for the ball, but grandma is holding her back.

Love all the hair styles and colors. Mine just got recolored on Thursday night. I finally cut my DH's Friday night. It looks pretty good if I say so myself.

Healing thoughts and prayers for those needing them.

Terri Happy Birthday! Sorry late, but wasn't on computer yesterday! Glad it was a great weekend!

I am feeling accomplished today even though I did no work work. It will be there tomorrow, but I must get off here and get some shut eye.

I didn’t even really leave the house, I had promised a friend I would make shirts for her family. Her 10 year old granddaughter competes in Rubik’s cube competitions.
These are three shirts I made, I forgot to take pictures of the other 3.

I started making notes yesterday but then just read through today and didn’t take notes.

“After the mysterious disappearance of Cinderella, Prince Charming is throwing a fancy dress ball to find a new bride. Some of the kingdom residents question how the prince could move on so quickly, while others are jumping at the chance to earn their spot as the new princess in the castle. No one has seen the Prince since Cinderella disappeared and the rumors are rampant!”

During the ball, as the dancing and rumors escalate, someone dies in the palace. Who died? Where? When? Why? How long was the victim dead? How did the victim die? What is happening?????

RVRita (Fairy Godmother) from the Kingdom of Roswell…….

Part 2:

The Ball has begun and people are arriving in droves. The entire MFP Women’s 50 plus group have arrived. The band has begun with background quiet music to welcome the guests. The servers are wandering among the guests with low carb, low calorie snacks, water, flavored waters, wine and diet drinks.

Fairy Godmother stands at the entrance welcoming the guests. Look! Here comes Jinn, Dwarf, Red’s Gran, Red, Rapunzel, Pixie, and Nosey! No one has seen Prince Charming. When will he arrive? The party is for him to choose a new bride. The crowd talks about the missing Cinderella and what they feel the Prince is rushing the search for a new bride.

The night progresses with more questions as it is near Midnight now, but the Prince has not shown up for his own Ball. Questions are floating among the guests as the band plays on.

The guest gasps in shock as Sleeping Beauty has just shown up with Cinderella!!

Fairy Godmother in the mysterious land of Roswell…… 🧞‍♂️🧚‍♂️🧚🧝‍♀️🧙‍♀️🪄

Meanwhile, Rapunzel is standing on the stage singing (because we all know she attracts her suitors with her lovely singing voice) and watching everything going on.

When she sees Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty come in, Rapunzel goes into a rousing rendition of "Do you believe in life after love?"

Happy Monday ladies

I have had a thoroughly fabulous weekend with my family. Wicked the show was amazing and the staff at the theatre were so lovely. When they saw that we had a wheelchair and we explained about my youngest's recent surgery they upgraded us to a box so that he wouldn't be jostled (we had booked way before the emergency surgery)

Food wise I was sensible and the slow cooker came into use so that we had something ready to eat when we got back and I had a sorbet rather than ice cream.

Here are my lovely lads in the box isn't the theatre beautiful?

I love when all my family are together so can absolutely appreciate your joy Rebecca!

Playing catch up again, as I was "down" for part of the weekend with something similar to what Annie was dealing with. I woke up Saturday morning with a sore lower back, dizzy, (but no vomiting). I moved around carefully, kept to tea and water, and did a few "Bob and Brad" stretches for a pinched nerve. I was fine by Sunday morning to get my shopping done and a couple of other things.
I am about six pages behind; but I wanted to give a shout out to our very own Fairy Godmother (Rita): I see you have a Hansel and Gretel. If you can find a place for her, please make me the BabaYaga or the "kindly" old woman who lives in the house made of candy to lure small children in for "dinner". I have always wanted to be a bad guy. Maybe because I spend so much time in real life being good...Pretty sure an analyst could go to town with that tidbit.

By the time Rapunzel breaks into "I Will Survive", Grettel begins to think something's up.

(Like Machka, Zel knows the words to a lot of songs. Unlike Machka, Zel can sing them well.)

Cinderella elbows Sleeping Beauty, and whispers, so the Godmother can't hear, "Are you listening to what Zel's singing? You think she's right? I need to just wash the Prince right out of my hair? I thought he was my destiny, but after this last business, when he didn't even show up to rescue me, I just don't know." Sleeping Beauty looks at her with wild speculation in her eyes. Could Drilly FINALLY be releasing her hooks from the Prince? Or was she just joshing her? Did Sleeping Beauty finally have a chance for her own one true love that didn't just go around waking people up for a living? Human alarm clocks were just sooo 1540s... and annoying.

"I'm gonna wash that man right outta my hair" reminds me so much of my mum. She saw Mitzi Gaynor in the West End, and told me that she had to really wash her hair on stage every night, so cut it short.
I had the LP of South Pacific.
When I was married to my first husband, I sometimes used to, unawares, break out into that song and had to stop myself!!!

Had a painting session with John today and decided to paint some very difficult irises.

I'm pleased with the result, as I was very unsure if I could manage it.

I'm delighted with my cc cream, which I tried out today. Fulfills its promises. I even popped out to the shops to celebrate having a face on.

Yes, my three sons, two are active duty and one is a veteran now married with two kids.💖. I was able to see my two active sailor sons just this past Feb and some of March, it was wonderful. I cooked like a crazy woman fixing all their favorites. Soon both of them will be overseas in Japan. We spent 7 years in Japan when husband was active duty, so I am excited for them and all the adventures they'll have. Video chatting is the best we can do, as I won't see either sailors for 3+ years. My middle veteran son and family lead busy lives and have yet to visit us here on Whidbey island, but in all fairness the trip is 5 hours away so its understandable. Hopefully they will one day.😁🤗💖

I’m loving the suggestions! Working them into the story. Not exactly where I was going, but gave me some needed different scenes to work with besides the Castle. HMMMMM. The ideas are swirling…… 😁

Slow day for me yesterday, damp and overcast. My allergies and asthma were acting up. Didn’t do much but did download a Chess game to see if I could re-initiate my brain. LOL. Turns out to be the same game I had downloaded a long time ago and got up to level 30. Well, I had to back that up back to level 11 before beating 1 game. That’s ok, it was encouraging to see I got that good playing against the computer. Challenging! I could play online against other live people, but want to refresh my game first. Anyone here play Chess online? We could play against each other sometime!

The party is for him to choose a new bride. The crowd talks about the missing Cinderella and what they feel the Prince is rushing the search for a new bride.

The night progresses with more questions as it is near Midnight now, but the Prince has not shown up for his own Ball. Questions are floating among the guests as the band plays on.

The guest gasps in shock as Sleeping Beauty has just shown up with Cinderella!!

Part 3:

Prince Charming = Terri. To Fairy Godmother “ (I am having second thoughts about looking for a new bride. Cinders is just too difficult to get out of my heart. I wish I knew where she has gone. I’m lying low for a bit…)

Fairy Godmother = RVRita To Prince Charming “ I will cover for you until Cinders is found. Please reconsider. Oh, my dear!!!! Cinders is at the door with Sleeping Beauty! I have to see what happened to her!!) {In her mind, she thinks ‘I need to do something more with her! My plan is not working!!}

PART 3

Cinderella (AKA Lisa in AR) turns to Sleeping Beauty (AKA Allie) at the door, "Look, SleeBea, I REALLY am not up for this. Look at all these people dressed to the nines!" She gestures to her feet, which are in some seriously dirty white Crocs, with weeds and dirt scattering from the holes. "You know how the Prince feels about shoes, he can't see me in these..." and gesturing to the rest of her tattered, filthy ballgown, with a few shiny bits showing through the dirt here and there, "And I look like I've been rode hard and put away wet." Sleeping Beauty, who's hoping the Prince will finally see her at her best standing next to a bedraggled, less-than-spiffy Cinderella, drags her further into the ballroom. There they bump slap up against the Fairy Godmother, who had been greeting the rest of the guests, but looks completely shocked to see the two of them...

At the same time, Nosy and Pixie are working around the crowd gathering the gossip and any hints about where or when Prince Charming will appear, and what happened to Cinderella. Pixie is flying around and Nosy is walking around the talking groups. They plan on joining up and sharing what they found out to try to work out what is REALLY happening.

(Earlier, before the guests started to arrive), I don't know why Fairy God mother is so unaware that Aladdin swung by on his carpet to get is BF Prince C away for awhile so he could think things out. Aladdin thought introducing him so some of Jasmine's friend might help him realize the possibilities he has.

The Prince thinks: {I was quite pleased with Aladdin sweeping by with his carpet, and helping me to escape from the palace for a while. And then he goes and starts trying to pair me up with Jasmine’s friends. That’s a dead liberty! I’m perfectly capable of making up my own mind.}

Red is overwhelmed with all the people and conversations going on. She is curious as she notices all the note taking and flitting about. She is ready to jump to help Cinderella get presentable for the ball, but grandma is holding her back.

Meanwhile, Rapunzel is standing on the stage singing (because we all know she attracts her suitors with her lovely singing voice) and watching everything going on.

When she sees Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty come in, Rapunzel goes into a rousing rendition of "Do you believe in life after love?" Then Rapunzel slides into "I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outa My Hair" and then into a female version of Elvis Presley's - "I'm Moving On" with Grettel showing her stuff on the piano.

By the time Rapunzel breaks into "I Will Survive", Grettel begins to think something's up.

BabaYaga has shown up, much to Hansel and Grettel’s dismay. She has brought sweets to pass around to the guests. Nosy and Pixie are right there greeting her, then begin to follow her around.

Cinderella elbows Sleeping Beauty, and whispers, so the Godmother can't hear, "Are you listening to what Zel's singing? You think she's right? I need to just wash the Prince right out of my hair? I thought he was my destiny, but after this last business, when he didn't even show up to rescue me, I just don't know." Sleeping Beauty looks at her with wild speculation in her eyes. Could Drilly FINALLY be releasing her hooks from the Prince? Or was she just joshing her? Did Sleeping Beauty finally have a chance for her own one true love that didn't just go around waking people up for a living? Human alarm clocks were just sooo 1540s... and annoying.

In a corner of the ball room, we find the Jinn, BabaYaga, Red’s Gran, Herbbette, and Fairy Godmother with bent heads talking suspiciously.

Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty make their way through the crowd and up the back stairs to Cinderella’s room to get cleaned up. On their way up, they pass the kitchen to find all the servants bent over looking at……. A dead body!!! Cindy and Sleeping Beauty scream. The piano and singing play on…..

Gee ya never know how good a shower feels until you take one..found my kindle..and have that charging..woke up at 4am and was awke until 7 am and went back to sleep until 10 am.feeling much better..
