Why is this messing up? It sounds like a very sensible day to me.
  • because of the big Taco Salad. The meat, cheese, chips.

Did it fit into your calorie goals? I'm one to say "so what", really. I eat meat every day and even indulge in the occasional chip. :)

Hon - I don't think that counts as messing up - sorry! Now, if you ate your eggs and toast with a six pack of beer and half gallon of ice cream, THAT would be messing up! If you feel bad, forgive yourself and move on. Tomorrow is a new day.
    Fell better soon!
  • Thanx u guys! I just feel like im going to gain tommorrow :/

I don't see anything wrong with your day  . As long as you stay at or even a little under your calories for today you should be fine. You just have to take it one day at a time. What really counts is your weekly calorie/exercise goals. I hear ya about not feeling well. I caught a killer cold today as well.

Hope you feel better soon :flowerforyou:

As long as your +/- your caloric intake goal for the day, I wouldn't say you mess up anything, and the rest of your day sounds like it was fine.

In other news, now I want Taco Salad for dinner!

Time to hit the elliptical when I get home, free up enough calories for one :P

did it come with/did you eat the large deep fried white flour tortilla bowl? if you did then tisk tisk, if you didnt then i think your totally fine! (and even if you did eat the bowl, you'll live, i promise)

Don't weigh yourself every day or you'll go nuts. Yes, you'll probably retain water from that taco salad because of all the sodium, but you can eat whatever you want as long as you remain within your calorie goals (within reason). Personally I need ice cream several times a week, so I'm willing to build it in to my calories.

And if you did mess up your calories, so what? It's one day. This is a lifestyle, not a diet. If you have a bad day (which is not over yet, by the way), then you pick up again tomorrow and do it right.
  • I messed up today, too! I got a chicken wrap for lunch and only ASSUMED that it was a healthy choice...it wsa 1200+ calories so I have blown my calories for today..I'm over by 700+ calories! And I can't workout today...sigh...I know it's just ONE day but this week was almost perfect for me. From now on, I'm going to check what I'm eating BEFORE I eat it!

That has happened to me before too. It AMAZES me how many calories seemingly "good' foods have. Now I go on the website and check the calories before I go places!
  • I gained a pound. Ialso had a candy bar lastnite.
