Why all the fuss about a couch? (oh my bad I thought we were talking about my sofa)

Thinking positive does not include assuming "I don't get it" was negative. Way to be.0

What if you have a son?
If you marry a guy that works with radars, and occasionally sleeps tucked behind them, you can pretty much assume you'll have a girl. Lols.0 -
I understand what you're saying as well, and I'm glad you're waiting for the right guy because I think sometimes people want it so badly they do it with the wrong people.
It's okay to daydream, but it could end up a lot different and you don't want to set yourself up for big disappointment. My daydreamed little baby girl turned out to be my sweet and sensitive little boy. My perfect birth turned out to be less than perfect.
This.
Having children and a marriage/long-term-relationship with a man are all too easy for young women to overly-romanticize. Not to say that your dreams aren't worth having or that they won't come true, just don't set yourself up for disappointment by over doing it.
its not setting myself up I want a good father for her so I WILL find a good father for her and not setting myself up I believe it's a promise from God and I know he will deliver and I have my life in his hands and he will take care of me but thanks for the advice0 -

My perfect little dream smashed his head into my face today and busted my lip open. Ahh, but I do love him to bits.
Omg happens to me all the time. Hurts like hell but I still love him lol0 -
I had my child's names picked out too but...
Turns out Stacy isn't exactly into the names "Boba Fett," "Fuquan," or "Megatron."0 -

Exactly...my Sophia (her real name), screamed at me, slammed her head into my face and peed on me...all before 11 am. How romantic!0 -

My future child will be named "Nemesis Enforcer," regardless of gender.0 -

My husband swears that, if we have a boy, the next child will be named "Genghis". (He will have to be home-schooled if my husband gets his way.)0 -
I'm done having children. Can I just pick out a name for my uterus?0

Yes. I nominate the name "MC hammer" because sperm just can't touch this.0 -

I've read letters like this before on Babycenter.com.
I also read one where this one woman was renouncing her right to pain medicine and wanted to have her child "nature's" way, on a table, with no clothes and no pain medicine. It was more like reading a cave woman's anecdote of when she went into labor. After I read that I made sure to tell my doc to get that epidural ready.0 -

Oooh! Did you read the one on Babycenter from the lady who wanted to eat the placenta?? I wonder how many calories that would be?0 -
