Hi, I’m 19 trying to lose 30 pounds. I’m used to eating my feelings in volume, so eating less at mealtimes to stay in my deficit is so hard for me. I feel like I need to eat more…but I don’t have enough calories left to eat. Help!!!

If you're eating your feelings, it would be ideal to make a plan for learning to handle difficult feelings in some different, more productive way. I've needed to do similar things in my own life, but I'm not expert enough to give you general advice on the subject. If you can, consider speaking with some type of counselor. If that's out of reach, consider asking in one of the relevant topic areas here about self-help resources others have found helpful, such as books or podcasts.

Beyond that, perhaps something in this thread could help sometimes:

You're so young now (compared to me at 68!). I hope you're able to find a resolution, because that will reverberate in positive ways through the rest of your life. Best wishes!
