This is my second journey through MyFitnessPal. The first was about six years ago when I lost eighty pounds using this site and monthly visits to a nutritionist. It felt good to be healthy. Then, life became very stressful with the COVID shutdown and a period when my family experienced a lot of stress beyond the pandemic. It did not take long to bloat back up to two hundred and eighty pounds. In the intervening months, my body told me it didn't like this at all.
I lost about thirteen pounds by eliminating sugar from my diet, and then I got back on MyFitnessPal and got serious about it. Today, I weighed in at two hundred and fifty-five pounds. My goal is to level off at one hundred eighty pounds and keep it there.
