Weight loss = smaller breasts?

Hey there ladies,
So I have lost about 15 pounds (a little over 10% of my body weight) and feel like my breasts have gotten dramatically smaller. Am I just insane, or has this happened to others as well?
Thanks!

Breast tissue is mainly adipose. When you lose weight, you lose body fat from all over...and this includes the boobies.0
-
Yes, definitely happens0
-
Well, I haven't got there yet... however before my weight gain I was a 32A, and now I am a 36B. So, yes it happens! I had the reverse happen to me!
I hope now that I am losing weight, maybe I'll get lucky and lose weight everywhere FROM there.0 -
press-ups - nice and slooooowwww! rowing! and a push-up bra! et voila!0

It happens for some women and doesn't for others. It mainly depends on genetics. If your breasts were small when you were thinner, they'll be small again. If they were big before, chances are they'll still be big once you've lost the weight.0

Yes, happening to me also. I have lost 20 lbs. and they have already gone down 2 sizes.0

Sadly (for some of us), yes!! Too bad we cant tell our body where to lose fat from first!!!
Thunder thighs be gone!! LOL0 -
Boobies are deflating and I love it. When I gained weight I kept the same bra size so for just over a year I've had that double boob look happening LOL. They are all back in the cup now.0

Always the first thing to go for me! Wish it were my butt instead...0

I wish. It hasn't happened for me yet. And as soon as it does I will be able to finish zipping up my wedding dress Am actually a little nervous that I am not going to loose it in my breasts before the wedding. And I only have about 40 days.0

Sigh. Thanks everyone! I guess it is back to being a bit flat-chested. Nuts to that.0

Are you going down band and/or cup sizes? I had a breast reduction 4 years ago (putting me at a 34DD) so I'm curious if you guys are going down just cup sizes, just band sizes, or both. I have about 40 lbs to lose.0

My wife and I are doing this together and I was teasing her that she was going from a D to an A... lol
You are not crazy.0 -
I really hope so. If not when I hit my goal I'm getting a reduction lol0
-
Yes! I was so sad when I went down a cup size. Sometimes weight loss = boob loss.0

i dropped a cup size0

The one thing I actually liked about the overweight me was my voluptuous breasts lol
Last week I thought the elastic had gone in my bra & then I realised that I'd gone down 2 sizes. I've only bought one new bra as my weight loss isn't over yet.
I want my bigger boobs back! :sad:0 -
i don't know what size (weight)you are to start with but the bigger weight wise you are the more you loose sometimes you can acually come out with bigger boobies!! lol you say how???
well me for instance---i started at well 68dd and now i am down to a 42 dd my boobs have shrunk but same size cup and they just look the same size as my whole frame has shrunk down! if that makes ANY sence to you guys at all! lol :noway:0 -
I lost 100 lbs, went from a 40DD to a 32B. Losing my breasts is actually the thing I'm happiest about in my weight loss.0
-
I lost over 100lbs and my breasts are miniscule compared to what they were after I had my kids. I went from a DD to a B. I personally like it.0

I was at 160 when I had my reduction four years ago (my heaviest came later at 185 one year ago) I used to HATE being a DD I thought it was too big. AFTER my reduction I felt blessed to be returned to a DD. I am 5'3" and a 34H just wasn't working it for me. Unfortunately I told myself if my breasts were smaller I'd work out more because I'd be in less pain (you know what I mean) Then I gained 25 more pounds. My band size has gone up with my weight, of course, but I look forward to being smaller all over! Losing a cup size wouldn't hurt either ^.~ lol I say that now0
-
well i started out at 32FF, and had started to feel like i was going to overflow the cups soon, now i am a 30E... So smaller but not gone altogether!0

Happened to me for sure. I went into Victoria Secret and was fitted for a bra (had never done that) . Went in with a C bra that I knew was too small and used to fit. I was told I was a 34 but not a C but a DD. Couldn't believe it. So I bit the bullet and paid that price for a bra that fit very nicely. Now I have lost 20 something pounds and my bra is too big. I just ordered another one but in a 34 D and it fits much nicer. I am not at goal yet, so hoping I can get back to my 34 C!!!!
My boobs were the 3rd place I notice losing my weight. First and second were fingers and wrist. Come on, who needs skinny wrists and fingers?? I want skinny thighs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
Ohh gosh that makes it sound like I only have one bra! So not the case....just bought the one from VS before I found a great E-bay site for VS bras.
I feel better now!!! Hee Hee0 -
