Just made this for dinner and yum!! Had been looking forward to it all day and wasn't disappointed, I used the topping but not the peas as I had it with a lovely fresh spring/summer salad! So good the husband had seconds, he said "don't tell me whats in it, it's good!" The ham I used was 300gms of lean shaved ham, sliced it up and it goes a long way.
Good to know!! My hubby loved it too, definitely a keeper! :drinker:0

i want to try this so bad, but i dont like swiss cheese. when i used to make chicken cordon bleu breasts, i would use provolone or mozz. do you think one of those substitutions would work for this recipe?0

            We despise swiss...used provolone. Awesome!0

Another substitution: I wonder if plain nonfat yogurt would work instead of sour cream? (It's what I use when I want sour cream on a potato...just thinkin' me thinks here...)0
