I had to look up Zepbound.

Those potential side effects would scare me away. I'll keep on going with my free CICO plan.. :)

Hello! I started Zepbound the end of December. I'm also intermittent fasting 18:6. I'm down 20lbs so far. Feel free to add me!

Hello everyone! I'm starting Zepbound today, taking my first dose tonight. I'll check in when I see how things go. Glad to see that it's working for some of you. How are the side effects?

Good luck and please keep posting. Over the last year there are a couple hundred people here using this that are writing about their experience. It's remarkable. Like any treatment it isn't working for everyone.

Here on MFP, when you write "I am looking for people who are ..." a few people who "are not" will pipe up and add their opinions. As the above discouraging poster, and also me. I am curious what this transformational new treatment will mean for us over the next generation or two.

I don't take it personally that you are trying something. Good luck, I hope it works for you.

Hi. Just started week 6. Down 17 as of today. And I’m still on 2.5mg. My goal is to use zepbound as a catalyst to get me going and eventually do it on my own. I know it’ll be difficult once I stop but I’ve changed my eating habits and am regularly exercising so I’m hoping if I continue those healthy habits, I’ll succeed. I have to be honest in that I don’t like the way this drug makes me feel. I’m constipated most of the time and feel like I have CONSTANT morning sickness. So I’m looking forward to reaching the goal I’ve set for myself and getting off of it completely. But I have to say… it really does work 😊

Hi There MizJackieJones, I started ZB 2.5 exactly 4 weeks ago and have lost 15 lbs. The last two weeks on 2.5 I experienced ups and downs (by ounces only) but I had added 4 miles of walking a day, which I think affected my weight. I lost 4.4 inches overall too! Measuring is important, so when you lose slowly, you get to see the results of your cloths fitting better. I did not have any side effects, except within the first 18 hours, I was extremely tired. But after that first day, I was feeling so energetic. I fast on and off 18:6, mixing it up every other day. I just started 5 mg yesterday and I felt good, but had gas. No other symptoms today. I use a walker because I have balance issues, and I have found that I can walk 4 miles in 1 hour. So proud of myself. My SW: 227, CW: 212.8, GW: 145 and I am 5'7.5" tall and I am 60 years old with mobility issues, using a cane or walker to be mobile. Good luck and hopefully you will post again when you reach milestones! I hope this works for you. I did switch to a lo-cal diet and rely on Premier Protein shakes.

I started zepbound 2.5 weeks ago and just took my 3rd dosage Saturday. Unfortunately my insurance only covers one month on 2.5 so I will have to go up to 5 after these four weeks. I am down 15.4 lbs and I feel great. No side effects so far.

I just started Zepbound last week, so far I have been fortunate to have minimal side effects and the reduction in my appetite, both physical and mental, has been very encouraging. I am also starting a lifestyle change program that runs for a year and will help me to make the changes I need to be successful. Best of luck to you on this journey!

I'm a Zepper now! No insurance coverage so have been waiting for prices to drop and now they have. Lily's new "cash" plan cuts the 2.5 and 5.0 dosage cost dramatically, but you have to use a syringe. I had never given myself an injection but it turned out to be mostly painless, so yeah for that. Just one day in so no progress to report, no side effects yet.

Hi! 5 weeks on Zepbound, 1st week at 5.0. While on the 2.5 dose I didn't really notice a difference, but this 5.0 is really helping me ignore the food that keeps calling out my name! I'm 61, soon to be 62 next month and hoping this will enable me to get down where I can start walking again and fight the arthritis that is trying to take over my life. I'm looking forward to feeling like a "normal" person and no longer struggling with this dang food addiction. I want to enjoy my grandbabies!

Hi all! Day 60 for me today. I did 2.5 mg x 1 month and am on my second month of 5 mg before planning to increase to 7.5 mg next month. Down 22 Lb (231 to 209, goal 145). Loving this journey and so grateful for it. Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving week.
