No. Nothing legal boosts your metabolism and the illegal stuff isn’t fun.2

Yes, by a ridiculously tiny amount; and only until one becomes adapted to a given dose. Since too much is bad for a person, this is not a serious weight loss aid.5

It can cause you to be more active with things like fidgeting or a little bit more movement which will burn calories, people usually mistake increase movement for increased metabolism1

It's my understanding that it burns about 1/2 extra calorie a day. Except it can be a good laxative, which could cause more.1

Taking the added extra calorie burn from the reported half a calorie to maybe an extra 4-6 calories per day in a few months . . . which is an optimistic timeline, depending on demographics and details.
You know this, Retro. Do hopeful new folks? Dunno.1 -

2. I said "more". It can potentially be "more", as you agree. I did not say it was a lot, and I doubt anyone thought so.0 -

Abbey talks about caffeine in the green and black tea, but it also applies to coffee, in general. She also debunks other woo about metabolism snacks, etc. It's very enlightening. I recommend watching the entire video.0
