The planned exercise was lacking but I did get in a little bit of raking. Wishing you all a safe, healthy, happy and successful round. I appreciate you all so much!

I am a 56 yo woman and been yo-yoing in my weight most my life. In 2017 I got down to under 160lbs. Even though this is "normal" weight for me (I'm tall), I think it is too low. I spend a lot of my early years in the 180s so I am hoping I can make that my new set point. If I don't pay attention my weight goes up to ~240lbs. So if I am busy and stressed which I have been the last few years with my parents illnesses and passing as well as other stuff I went back up. Been at this again for 60 days and have lost ~20lbs. My new mini-goal is to stick with it for another 30 days which will take me almost to Thanksgiving. I sort of started again on an impulse because I decided I was obsessing on news too much and doom scrolling so if I was going to obsess on something I should obsess on losing weight and my health and it has mostly worked given the success of the last two months. The numbers from my last medical checkup were not great, not bad enough for medication or anything, but going in that direction.

I am in a new decade! Felt like I have been bouncing around 221-222 for a while.

    Round Goal: 155.x

    Day, Weight, Comment
10/23 - 155.6 - Day 1 and already at goal! Now to maintain or improve on that. I didn't realize I had more bloat/water weight to drop but apparently I did. I wouldn't be surprised if I don't drop off from here much and that's okay. I'm still in a slight deficit but it is small enough it won't be sudden drastic changes. I am still quite sore this week as I start increasing back to my pre-vacation weights in the gym so I'm probably holding on to some water in my muscles as well. Food was good yesterday and today is planned out to meet all my goals. I need to focus on water early so I can avoid the 2am wakeups which I did successfully last night YAY! Steps are high for the time of day already so I shouldn't have any issue meeting that goal. Meditation is done and feeling good. Now if only work would stop being stressful - 2 of my projects are terribly far behind and it's hard to catch up when I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing and still need to be taught how to do some of the work (it's a program). Very frustrating but trying my best to lower my stress and remind myself it's not my fault - I can't get in trouble for not knowing and needing to be taught. Especially since I have evidence that I'm asking for the help/guidance/teachings and I'm getting very delayed or no responses in return. I'm doing the right thing and that is all I can do.

10/23: 152.6: Good day. 2 short outside walks, 1 treadmill walk. Still don't feel like my hip is up for running. Food was decent, with the exception of some extra white cheddar popcorn that was not needed.

@sheilaboneham - That is just the sweetest little hat I've seen. All the little sheep, the colors! You are a very talented knitter. I would like to learn but my brain just won't keep track of the stitches. I"m forever pulling stitches out until you can't tell what is what. It is a generous donation, indeed.
