Add a negative

Let us remove items, it could simply be searching for the item and adding it as a negative. Let’s say I go to a restaurant and the meal I got already exists in the large database of options. Woo! BUT I got it with no mayo, or I didn’t eat about half a cup of rice.. so if I could just simply search mayo and “subtract” 2 tbsp (and the macro and micro nutrients of 2 tbsp) of mayo (or rice) from the meal BOOM problem solved. I don’t need an infinite variety of every meal any more. I go to Einstein’s bagel and get a tasty turkey but swap the Asiago bagel for plain? Easy, I add the normal tasty turkey, I subtract an Asiago bagel, I add a plain.
This could extend into custom meal creation, maybe I only know these substitutions that I make, I could save the sum total of the macros and micros as my “tasty turkey with plain bagel”
You don’t even have to change anything major. We can already add serving sizes that gets used as a multiplier, just allow negative numbers to be entered. It could still get listed in thelog with its negative calories like everything else, you could just make it red if it’s negative or something and call it a day.

I like this idea... I don't eat out too often but at the beginning of the week, I went to Burger King ... I got an Impossible Whopper Meal without mayo, fries and a Caffeine-free Diet Cherry Vanilla Coke. I started using the app on November 5th so that's not in my database, but if it was, I couldn't subtract the mayo(don't eat normal mayo)?
