What's the nature of the disturbance: Are you waking up, not able to get back to sleep; waking often but going back to sleep quickly; body twitches interrupting sleep; nightmares interrupting sleep; just don't feel rested even though you feel like you've been asleep; or something else? Do you uncontrollably fall asleep during the day, even at inappropriate times?
It's hard to make suggestions with so little information. You might try reading other sleep threads here where people share ideas for improving sleep.
Beyond that, have you talked to your doctor about a sleep study?0 -
I'm a registered sleep technologist. Disrupted sleep could be due to many different things such as sleep apnea, restless legs, bruxism, medications, etc. I would suggest speaking to your healthcare provider and requesting a sleep study. Many insurances are doing home studies which are less expensive and more convenient. Good luck! There is better sleep out there for you!1

I have had a terrible time staying asleep for years.
Then I quit alcohol for good and bam! my sleep has improved 100%...
Now I sleep soundly with some insane dreams and most days wake up before the alarm goes off.1
