When trying to update my goals I get "cannot update goals at this time"

For the past 2 days I've been trying to update my calorie goals and I just get an error message and my goals don't update. I've tried syncing in the settings. I read on the internet it would update the next day but it didn't only other thing I've heard is to reset my account but I really don't want to do that I've been using the app for a year and don't want to lose everything

Sorry for the trouble! Our team is aware of the issue and hope to have this resolved with an update that is being prepped for the GooglePlay Store as quickly as we can. Keep an eye out for the 24.45.1 soon.

Okay it turns out you can fix it by updating the goals on the website and going back to the app and then logging out and deleting the app storage in the phone settings then logging back in and it will update on the app.

It doesn't work. I did it through the website, waited, logged out and in, nothing.

24.45.1 update is available in Play Store. I first checked via web to see if my data is ok. Then I unistalled completely the old app and installed fresh. Logged to the app ( took a bit loading on Pixel 8pro) but now all working fine and data is recorded.
Probably some links to MFP data base broke with the past app. Glad you guys fix it.

Word of wisdom: it would be great to have better data entry people adding product macros. I had , wit the label under my eves, see a 100 or more products that were completely fraude in terms of composition in the MFP data base. I am not speaking of whatever products but BRANDED canned products of renown brands. Please, unless we are suposed to write our own product and do not count on MFP data base... update and FIRE the incompetents that read 30 and write 10 or worse....

MFP can't 'fire' these people because they are users like you and me, the database is (mostly) crowdsourced.
