Hello i am I type 1 diabetic and I went into the hospital at 119 when I was diagnosed and now I have gained about 30pounds in the last month. Does anyone have any tips for trying to lose that weight and still take care of my diabeties?

what does the number 119 mean?
Diabetes can be managed at the same time as weight...ask your medical team for a referral to a dietician.

119mg/dl either fasted or postprandial is not something considered problematic, so maybe you can clarify why that caused you to be hospitalized and you should really be talking with your PCP because with type 1diabetes your diet, it's contents, and when you eat is crucial for your injection schedule, and you shouldn't be messing with it. Go talk to your Doctor.0

Using this app, I have rearranged my eating plan. When I started, I was 220 and after 2 months was down to 203. I make sure I move every day as some sort of DAILY exercise is critical. Sometimes I work in the garden for an hour weeding and raking etc. I also follow Donovan Green Fitness on YouTube and find his stuff is amazing and motivating. For me, it’s a balance between food, paying strict attention to carbs and SUGAR. I log everything I eat. The most important thing is to find out what you can sustain-because as you know, diabetes is a vicious disease. Of course talk to your doctor before you do anything. Best of luck to you!0

You weighed 119 lbs and gained 30 pounds in a month? You better see a medical provider ASAP. Not normal. Good luck.1
