Anyone Else Getting Logging Glitches?

I pre-log several days out.
I sat down yesterday morning and logged for most of the upcoming week.
Yesterday evening, most of the upcoming days were empty. Wiped clean.
Grrrrrrrrr.
I just re-entered, went to adjust a quantity (5 ounces cherry tomatoes). After I adjusted, I returned to that day to finish adjusting quantities on other items.
Not only had cherry tomatoes changed to “1” (I seldom use “1” of anything because I weigh by grams and convert to fractions so my default is 1.2 anyway), there were now two lines of cherry tomatoes.
This all started within the last 24 hours.
Anyone else seeing anything funky?

ugh.
Are you using the app to log?
I don't think I can take any more mfp glitches. It seems about ready to implode.2 -
I don't pre-log, and I use the web version, haven't noticed portions or types of servings as having changed, but then I don't go backwards and look so I guess I'm no help other than to empathize with FeaturesThatNoLongerWork.0

lol. I feel ya. I sometimes wonder if the app is done, finis, no more work or upgrades necessary and it’s just crumbling.
I was actually looking forward. Yesterday morning, I had logged thru Wednesday and when I went to adjust my breakfast recipe, Monday Tuesday and Wednesday had vanished. So I started plugging it all in again, and it started doubling up on logged ingredients.
I only use the iOS app.2 -
I use the Android app and the desktop version. Once upon a time I had issues like you describe, but it's been months and years since then.
The problem I'm having right now is finding previously used items for quick-selection. My old phone this was a breeze, I could always find previously used items within seconds. But then I had to replace my phone, redownload the app, and ever since the app refuses to acknowledge prior entries. And I don't just mean old-phone entries, which I can understand; I mean I've had this phone for two weeks, and even stuff logged yesterday doesn't appear, I have to retype the entire description, scroll through the database to find. Used to be I could record the entire day's food in under a minute using the app, but now the desktop version is far faster.0 -
I don't prelog. I mostly use the iOS app, have not updated it in ages. It works. The only thing not working too well is sync'ing between website and app at times.0

I don't prelog. I've had a couple of days recently where I logged a meal, and part of the items in the meal were duplicated, but not all. I've also had a few weird instances recently where I searched for a food I eat regularly with a text string that was in the name, didn't find it in recents, tried a different text string in the name and found it.
I've had experiences like this temporarily in the past, and found that they usually go away shortly. I don't report to Support unless it persists every time for a while. Subjectively, I feel like there's a little higher likelihood of some of this when my data service (wireless or cell) is spotty or marginal. That kind of a little bit makes sense to me technically, sorta.
These days, I log almost entirely in the Android app.0 -
So set up an account for hubby on his android phone, and, the recent food lists seem to be specific to the meal. Specifically, log coffee for breakfast but when I go to log lunch, the coffee does not show on the recent foods list for lunch (but it does show on recent foods list if i go in to add more foods to breakfast.)
Same for shred cheese at lunch is not visible a different meal, such as dinner or breakfast... I have to re-enter or search again for the item.
My workaround tho is to go back to breakfast, log/post a second coffee, then go to the meal, edit the coffee and change to the other meal. Then it shows on that new area, lunch, dinner, etc
And, speaking of weird missing stuff, just noticed today that.... at the bottom of these pages is a link to our groups or bookmarks or discussions.... When i click on link for my (61) discussions, the page comes up as 'no discussions found.'
Wondering if there were some resets that dumped info or reset to earlier info? Just a bit odd.0 -

You have two sorting options you can use for searching foods: most recent versus most frequent (or A-Z or Z-A), but also 'all meals' versus the specific meal you're logging foods into. I'm thinking you simply need to switch that second option?
As for the OP: I'm not having any issues like that. I have had a few 'freezes' recently where the app simply freezes and I need to reboot. Items duplicating occasionally too, but that's a long term thing. I'm using the Android app though (the 'evil' world of i is not for me )
