You would thinks so but nope, I mean sure he has a distinct distain that gets him a lot of clicks in the way he talks about carbs in general but I'm talking more in the nutritional scientific community in a general sense. I like Lane and I get behind what he says in the subjects he knows very well which is protein and I like an agree with most of what he says, but then he drifts into subjects where he's pulling out his PhD from under his hat and begins to read from the book of Narnia also known as epidemiological bible, which doesn't fly in the nutritional landscape. He's mostly selling supplements lately and trying to be an influencer, I get it, you do what you have to do. Just look at his video "never eat carbs" is that what Jessica is implying, absolutely not but it gets clicks, but in the end it just supports his style for media attention, pretty lame imo.1 -

I've watched quite a few Layne Norton vids, and I think he's quite good. He cites papers he mentions in the video detail. Yes, he sells supplements but he doesn't mention them in every video, never mind pimp them like Greg Doucette does. For example the most recent video is talking about someone saying bad stuff about protein powder, and he doesn't even mention that he sells protein powder. He doesn't try to sell anything in the video above either, so I dispute the claim that he's "mostly selling supplements lately".
I've never heard of Glucose Goddess. It looks like Layne is doing what he often does in that video above, i.e. extrapolating what someone else is saying, also calling them out for fear mongering about something while conveniently also selling a supplement to fix that thing, and yeah the thumbnail is clickbait but so what, blame that on YT, that's how their algo works for creators.2 -
Probably a good idea to find out who Jessie Inchauspe, the Glucose Goddess is and to understand her stance on the science she believes will help people. She doesn't promote a low carb diet or tell people what to eat, except that sugar might be something that people might want to managed better. She does believe that a whole food diet is healthier than the standard American diet, not earth shattering. Try not to focus on what she wears though, lol.0

The moral of the story is don't believe everything on YouTube... lol0
