Would love a buddy or two!👯♀️

I’ve used this app before and it was so helpful! I would love to find a few buddies who we can just check in once or twice a day- pretty casual, no pressure if you can’t always. But I’m about 187 lbs and would like to first have a goal of 150, then see how I feel with that.
My main focus is mindful eating, more movement, and can anyone tell me where the buddy discussions are please?

PS I just bought a walking treadmill, and I’m excited for it. I’ve had muscle issues with my back before so even though I dream of one day lifting heavy weights, I need to go gently with movement.1

You might want to take a look at some of the challenge or accountability threads in these parts of the Community:
https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/categories/motivation-and-support
https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/categories/challenges
There are a few in other parts of the Community, too, but they're the most concentrated in those areas. Read the intro post, see if it feels suitable for you. If there are special instructions for joining, that post will usually say what they are. That's a good way to get support, establish some self-accountability, and meet like-minded people.
There are also threads here and there where people just share info about their daily workouts, what their meals were, and that sort of thing. That's another way to participate.
Take a look around, and consider joining in: For me, participating in the Community helped me learn a lot, gave me good tips I could use while losing, and now helps keep my head in the game while maintaining. It's kind of a thing where the effort a person puts in affects what they get out of it, I think - at least that's been my experience.

Hi! I'd love to join for the check in! I'm 176lbs and goal is 160 to start then go from there, try 150 if I feel good about it. My priority is not overeating and eating less sugar Also, upping my daily steps because my job is very sedentary.1
