@thisisamiri9167, you have my full support. However . . . what I have learned is that I should expect to lose no more than 3 pounds a week. That means in 90 days (13 weeks) you can aim for losing 39 pounds. I think it is important to set realistic goals, so you aren't disappointed or too hard on yourself. Perhaps others will think differently. Good luck!

News Flash! I found a great website: https://www.calculator.net/calorie-calculator.html?
I was able to do a little research. Here is what I found
    A. Beginning diet, 175 pounds, to lose 1 lb a week: 1263 cals, 1/2 lb a week: 1513 cals
    B. At my new weight, 135 pounds, to lose 1 lb a week: 1,013 cals, 1/2 lb a week: 1263

So you can see, eating 1263 cals (1,200 cal diet) used to allow me to lose a whole pound a week, but if I follow the SAME 1,200 diet now, I will only lose half a pound a week. I decided to go "slow and steady" 1,200 or 1,263 calories a day. Then I won't feel like I am starving myself. So . . . to lose 15 pounds will take me about 30 weeks (7-8 months). Hopefully, I can stick with it that long.

    Thanks for listening!

[I am not sure how much the rest of you weigh. Perhaps you want to use the calculator to find out how much you can eat a day, to lose a pound a week . . . and report back here?]
