82 Pounds Down So Far

I didn't quite meet my year end goal. I wanted to reach 100 pounds lost by the end of the year. I actually did meet it, when I was having stomach issues, but only for a few days. I had to make some medicine changes related to tests I had to undergo to diagnose the cause of my stomach issues and gained quite a bit back. Too late in the year to get it all back off again. I'm not upset. I got it off once and I will get it off again. I ordered myself a new dress. I'd had my eye on it for months but refused to pay full price. I saw it on sale the day after Christmas for a really steep discount. It arrived today. I washed it and tried it on and oh am I so glad I ordered it. This dress is a size 20 and I started in a size 30 back in 2019. What a great way to end the year. I will try adding a picture of today and where I started, but I've not done this before, so I don't know if it will work or not. Keep on pushing forward, everyone. If I can do it, you can do it. I know I have a long way to go still, but the more I lose, the more I believe that I really can reach my goals.

It is a lovely picture with you in your new dress1 -
You've done very well! The only thing is six months from now you'll have to put that dress in the donation bag and buy a smaller size Keep up the good work!0

You made my day as well. Look how thin your neck looks. It's a stunning transformation. You look great in your new dress.
I started with a high weight of 348 in September 2024 and have lost 35 lbs so far (+/- 2). I have a long way to go and reading about your success is so motivating.
I am very determined to lose weight without weight loss injections and I am having fun. I even founded a group and I was wondering if you would like to join us. We are a nice bunch of losers. I have 100+ more pounds to lose, so I will be around for a while. Congrats on your success! I would like to stay in touch which is hard without a newsfeed or any other way to communicate.

Thank you so much for posting and sharing your photos! I just joined My Fitness Pal today. I have 200 pounds to lose, and really appreciate the inspiration I feel from your post.
Also thanks to Lady Magenta for sharing the name of her group. I just requested to join.1 -
Lady_Magenta, I started at 351.4, so pretty close to where you started. It has taken me 5 1/2 years to get where I am now. It has not been as fast or as easy as I would have liked, but I am determined to stick with it.1

Down 2.7 this week. I bought a 90 Day Challenge tracking journal from Amazon that arrived today. My goal is to reach that 100 pound mark by the end of the challenge. 15.6 pounds in 90 days is about 1.2 pounds per week. Completely doable, if I stay on track. Overall, my plan sounds silly but it has been working for me. I already had a 5 year planner. It's basically just 5 years of monthly calendars. I've been using it since 2022 to track my weight each week. Every week that I lose, I get a corgi sticker. About a month ago, I tried something new. I set mini habit goals for myself. Every day for every mini habit achieved, I get a smilie face sticker. I still get a corgi sticker if I have a loss for the week. Earning the stickers is rewarding for me. And, it gives me a visual to look back. I place my stickers in a particular order so that I can easily look back and see which habits I did well with for the week and which habits I did not. This helps me see where I need to improve.2 -
Congratulations! That is so cool, you can see the product of your hard work!0
