Lost 100 in 2010 with myfitnesspal and back to do it again

Hi Everyone, I am new for the first time since 2013, in 2010 I lost 100 pounds with myfitnesspal. Unfortunetly I gave myself an eating disorder in the process and really struggled for a bit. Since 2020 I put back on all the weight, I am a bit devastated as I worked so hard and kept it off so long. I hurt my back running a marathon in 2015 and it's been a struggle to exercise since. So I decided to focus on my macros this time instead of restricting calories. If you have had a similar experience i'd love to be friends on here!

High Becca. I am sorry for your struggles. However I don't want to see you struggle more. You have to restrict calories to lose weight. The amount of calories you consume has to be less than the calories you burn. The difference of deficit determines how fast you will lose the weight. I think -500 calories is 1 pound a week.
The key is adjusting the way you eat in a healthy manor. You could pack a ton of food into 1200+ (listed because this is the minimum only, not what i am suggesting you set your calories to. Especially since you had an eating disorder) calories a day.
Overall knowing everything about what you are eating sets you up for the most success. I don't find weighing my food to be all that difficult. I usually cook more than one serving at a time and put it in containers when I cook. I can plan my meals days in advance which cuts down on logging work.
As for exercise. Start slow. You can find chair exercise videos on youtube. I have limited mobility. My ability to stand has a short window. 10 minutes max. I bought a walking pad so that I can take multiple short walks during the day rather than go for one long one. Every little bit helps.

I shared my history with a major eating disorder to give context, and I'm already working with both a doctor and a back specialist to manage this.
