@LisaInArkansas thanks for sharing your YouTube link!
I also looked at your handbags, and you are quite crafty!
    Hugs sent your way today!
Congratulations on your little wins with your health journey!

@grandmallie stay warm! I’m sure you northerners are ready for it to warm up!

@bwcetc great job on your health accomplishments 👏🏻

@margaretturk brrrr 🥶. Our power bill was higher than it’s ever been because of using the heat this year. Stay warm!

One of our neighbors moved suddenly as there was a job change and they left today. I’m feeling a bit sad. They will be leasing this house while they are at their new location.

@kevrit hugs and prayers sent your way!
Y’all are having some weather like us.
Keep us posted on your craft project! I’m sure it was challenging with black yarn.
    I haven’t learned to crochet.
I have done some Crosstitch in the past. Also, some latch hook rug.

Oh jeez, I am a fine piece of slugginess today. We shall just say its because of the cold medicine I am taking shall we!
Its bright hazy cloudy with a drizzle. Typical February weather for the Pacific Northwest.

Last night at 5:30 pm husband casually says, "you may start dinner now". I completely forgot what was scheduled and it was a complicated one!
-flour, egg wash and bread cubed steak pieces (2)
-fry them up in olive oil and a splash of veg oil
-both browned put in Pyrex container and put in oven 350 to finish off.
-clean out oil and fry up 4 spicy meatballs breaking them up. Add 1 can spaghetti sauce, 1 med can plain tomato sauce, 1 small cannot tomato paste, and add 1 spoonful of brown sugar. Put on simmer with lid on or your whole surface of stovetop with be sausafied!
-at same time boil water (salted and a splash of veg oil) and put in spaghetti noodles. Yes I break my noodles in half, so sue me😂.
-sauce done, noodles almost done, take out cube steak turn up oven to 450' for cheesy bread. Those bake cheese side up for 8-10 minutes. The whole feast was done in about 30 minutes of chaos cooking.
-I then sat down and sipped a Fresca.😂

Joann's ... I am not a sewer by any stretch of the imagination, but occasionally I have projects that require supplies and cloth. My last visit to Joann's was a train wreck. The staff were rude, the store looked like a hurricane went through and it was dirty! I couldn't find what I needed and the staff could've cared less. I went to Michael's across the plaza and encountered an entirely different environment. Found everything I needed at a lower price. Not sure how much of Joann's problems came from corporate or local management. I can't imagine looking for cloth material online. I always need to touch.

Kelly ... waving back at ya' <3

Finally stopped my entitlement eating and I've now completed day 3 on the treadmill and bike.

    Beth near Buffalo

Joann's here on the mainland is like that. I don't think they ever swept the floors, and it was messy too. Now Micheal's and Hobby Lobby are a treat to visit! I tend to lose time, like Lee has to come in and check on me. I'm like "whaa-at"? The the most fun way to blow $100 in a couple hours.
Good job on the treadmill and bike!

    MFP Weekly Check-in for February 17, 2025

Debbie in Napa Valley CA - 150.6 but was wearing pj's so will say 150.0 Same as last week.

Rita in Roswell NM - Up again this week. I’m still giving in to my mood. I know what I need to do, I just have to get the ambition to do it!

Kylia in Ohio - I am frustrated. Scale said 136.2. It read 135.1 all week! I have met protein goals most days. I have exercised at least 30 mins most days. I have been close to calorie recommended most days. Sugar has been close to recommended. Steps close to 10k most days and zone minutes around 30 most days. So being discouraged I took measurements! really bad idea! No wonder I can't get my jeans on! I have added 1.5 in to hips, 1.5 in to belly, and 1 in to waist. So other than crying ..... 1) I am going to buy a couple of pairs of lined stretch leggings and a couple tunic style shirts to get me through winter. 2) Redirect concentration to water intake 3) Keep prepping food at home as much as possible. 4) NOT GOING BACK TO NICOTINE! 5) Leaning on all of you to get me through this! Much love, Kylia

    Barbara on the Southern Oregon Coast – ugh. Weight this morning 134.9 highest since June. CI & sugar off the charts, steps in the pits, thank goodness for BB&B and line dancing. Gonna pretend it's a new month ;}

Sue in WA - Made chair yoga but not water exercise last week. I was trying to hit my protein goal for 3 days last week. For some reason getting in the amount of protein they say I should have is hard for me and my gut apparently did not like the sudden increase. I am going to try to focus more on protein but not necessarily to meet their goals.

Lanette in SW WA State – after some ups and downs, weight settled down to 160.25 # on Saturday which is “weigh-in day.” Step average 8757 this week, quite a jump from last week – more trips outside to shovel snow, a bigger shopping “experience” at Walmart from one end to the other. Total activity minutes – 290. Still house walking, 10-15 minutes at a time, carrying weights.

@SophieRosieMom , thanks for posting the weekly check-in. I didn’t know anything about it. This was my first week with y’all. What do I need to do going forward in this regard?

@Debbie in CA- great job maintaining!

@Rita in NM- praying for you to have a successful week!

@ kylia in OH- hugs sent your way. I understand frustration. With your calorie burn on steps, is it possible you weren’t getting enough calories? I like your plan to redirect to water intake and the rest of your strategy! You can do this! Praying for your success!

Barbara from Oregon- you can do this! I love your perspective on dancing. The weight will come off. 😊

    Sue in Washington- great strategy!

Lynette in Washington- sounds like a successful week! Great job on activity levels!
