Hello

Hello I’m Lisa 54 year old with three grown boys. I need to lose about 100 pounds. I admit I tried using this app in the past but I failed at logging my food. I’m pre diabetic and my cholesterol labs are going the wrong way so decided I really need to find a solution to lose weight. Started adipex last week. My goal here is to log at least one meal a day increasing to two and then three over the next week or so. I understand it take time to change a routine so hoping starting this can help me break my bad habits and learn new ones

Small changes that you can keep is the best way for success. I think you will find that logging isn't the nightmare we first imagine it to be. People tend to eat the same things. Once you've logged it once, it will stay for a long while unless your food varies every single for the month. You can also enter food in a as a recipe. So if you meal prep, you will have a record of your meal already. It takes me anywhere from 10 seconds to 10 minutes depending if i am logging what I have already made or trying to create a new recipe. Since i meal prep I can even get multiple days entered by preplanning. then i only need to alter my log if I do something unexpected.

And using the scale as become a part of cooking. It doesn't add any noticeable time to preparing food at all. You can do this.

Best of luck to you. i like your small goal of starting with logging one meal. As you get used to it then do 2 and then a full day. If you need some motivation feel free to request me as a friend on here
