@globalhiker Oh, I wish! It was indoors, which was nice (no wind, perfect roads)... but I started it with a 30 mile that featured three decent climbs and a real brute of one right after them, and then did laps on a relatively flat road for the last 70. My legs were jelly at the end.
Still, did a gravel ride the next day! Forgot to log it, too, so capturing it here.

February has gone better than I had expected2 -

Exercise is always fun for me. I am doing 4 gym classes a week, 2 are weight lifting, 1 is kickboxing, and the other is RPM. I love variety. Of all these, the RPM cycling class is burning the most calories and my HR hits the 150s, often higher than my running. It's all intervals with a good portion of it cycling upright at a 50 resistance level on a lifecycle. I go thru 2 bottles of water and leave the room one sweaty mess. And the jelly legs, yes.
This aside, I hike at least 1x a week, never as long as I'd like and I re-started running 2x a week, only 3.5-4 miles each time then walking after.
What I love about cycling is that it does make my legs stronger. It gives my feet a break also. My cycle at home is a cheapo and that's my take it easy bike where I just relax and watch tv or youtube while I get miles in.

@Mari33a and @globalhiker Got that 20 miles of running done! Finished it up today with a 1/2 marathon that took just a little over 2 hours. (yesterday was cardio-free because of sheer laziness lol)
Followed up that 1/2 with a nice little ride. Took it easy, but still did some decent efforts on the climbs and sprints to beat my previous PRs. Huzzah! Looking forward to March.

@globalhiker It was just an independent run, actually using my treadmill because I didn't want to contend with golf carts on our local trails.
But I do love me a 1/2! Full marathons (of which I've done 1... also on my treadmill...) are just flat out brutal. Maybe later this year I'll do another 1/2 outdoors, but for right now, the treadmill owns my feet (if those feet aren't on my pedals!).
Today was closing out the new routes challenge in Zwift with the single route I'd not ridden yet. Badge complete yet again!

I love this ride 4 laps of Volcano Flat. There are 20 min long flat and 1% grades to just ride. You don't even have to think.

I saw a Study that showed how to determine your Maximum Oxidated Fatty Acid Burning Load Range in Watts. So, here is my first attempt to burn only fat during this fasted ride.

Zwift Big Spin is happening - got all the Stage 1 specific items and 2 of the 'event-long' items today because why the heck not - just cutting myself off from riding because I have to get housework done. 😅
(for those not in the know, Zwift Big Spin has prizes on a roulette wheel - you pass the finish arch of the route that's featured in that 'stage' and it spins, granting you whatever you land on - either a new item, or 'drops' if you've gotten that prize on a previous spin)

Two rides today - a meetup with a bunch of friends from the world over via Zwift, and a quick 'Big Spin' ride for fun. While the meetup was on the Big Spin route for this week, it netted me 'drops' because I've already got the item the roulette wheel landed on.. but the silly short ride I did for fun? Netted me one of the two items I was missing! Only one left to get this week, and I'll be trying to get it tomorrow (after my Zwift race, that is).
