It appears to be broken at the moment - lot of issues reported.

When I try to link Fitbit to MFP, I get a message which says "To connect your FitBit account please allow MyFitnessPal to access all FitBit data points" even though I have checked "Allow All".

I have removed all references to Fitbit in MFP and vice versa. I have cleared cache in both and force stopped both.
I have tried to link Fitbit in the MFP app and on web version of MFP.

Thanks for getting back to me.

Same problem. Support says to keep the sync on and wait for a fix.

I broke the sync and now I can not get the app's to reconnect. This happens all the time with Myfitnesspal - is there somewhere else to go?

Seems to be just generally haunted right now. I've had it connected to Fitbit for the past year-ish now, but for the past couple days I've had like 6-8 blank hours in which MFP simply won't sync. Not sure if the issues are related, but I wouldn't be surprised.

Yeah same. Started yesterday, lasted for about six hours. It happened again today after a while.

For anyone looking to approximate their step burn for the day, divide the calories burned in MFP (minus separate recorded workouts) by the number of steps synced to MFP and multiply it by the actual current step count to figure out roughly where it should be right now. It's a kludge, but it was pretty close yesterday for me.

Edit: If you have zero for the day before it froze up, well I guess you're kinda up a creek. Across two days my multiplier was 0.07171 and 0.06527 per step, so I really can't guess what yours should be but maybe it'll be somewhere between those.

OP here. It started working yesterday after I rebooted my phone but maybe that was coincidence. It stopped syncing today again around 5 pm ET and still isn't working at close to 9 pm though I've rebooted twice.

I'm having the same issue. My steps weren't syncing from Fitbit this evening so I thought… I'll reconnect the two apps to see if that triggers it to update.

Now I am getting the same error that you posted above.

Oh thank goodness somebody else has this. I've been trying to relink for over two hours and couldn't get in the forums to check if anyone else was affected, and the system status says everything is fine 😂

This has also happened to me. I sure hope they fix this and soon! What a PITA as I really depend on the FitBit sync.

I'm having the same problem as many others as of yesterday, 3/22/25, with the most recent update on 3/21/25. I've done everything possible - resynced, rebooted, uninstalled, reinstalled, unchecked, rechecked etc & NOTHING works. It's so frustrating & I'm trying so hard to be accountable with my exercise, calories & food logging. PLEASE GET THIS PROBLEM FIXED!!!

I am having the same issue. My steps were tracking so I deleted the app and reinstalled. All my logs and tracking are gone. I'm on a bariatric weight loss program and I have to have these logs. Someone please help. It's as if I deleted my account, but didnt.

same issue as everyone above. MyFitnessPal was not syncing my steps from Fitbit. Normally I can disconnect and reconnect but now I cannot reconnect at all. It keeps taking me to a screen saying I need to agree to all data points. I have done that repeatedly and no luck. This issue has been occurring with greater frequency over the past month.

This happened to me. I have deleted and reinstalled both apps and, with great difficulty, got the installed so they should sync. It worked for half a day. Food and water data are not populating Fitbit. It does seem to be a MyFitnessPal problem.

Me too. I’ve tried everything. Logged out and logged back in to both apps. Removed them and redownloaded. Then I disconnected MFP from FitBit and keep getting that error about making sure everything is allowed, which it is, when I try to add it back. I’m at a loss.

MyFitnessPal is not syncing food and water data with FitBit.

In addition my premium page won’t open.

I’ve used this app for 10 years; the last three as a premium member. This the first time I wanted to contact support but I can’t. I’m frustrated. I’d like to talk to someone. Again, I can’t.

    Please fix this.
