Welcome Mary! Nice to meet you! Motivation to me means doing one positive thing after another. Living my life on an event keel, not letting me dip too far down into "woes ville". Sure I have a pity party every now and then. But I process, then move on. Figuring out what makes a good day is key. What does a good day look like to you? For me its a day I do all the things I say I need to do. Some are weight related, others are projects, and some are for relaxing. Stringing these all together makes a good day for me. Try not to pile on too new tasks, because that can become a stress. These all have to be doable. You're not a robot either, life happens, things change. Adapt, acclimate and adjust. (My three A's of life). You got this!

    MFP Weekly Check-In for March 24, 2025

RVRita in Roswell NM - Weight stayed the same this week. I’ll take it! Better than going up! Still not up to my usual activities, but watching my intake of food.

Barbara on the Southern Oregon Coast – Avg WT eked down three tenths of a pound to 132.8, avg steps inched up 200 steps to 4546, BB&B once, line danced and dogs to powerline twice,  dog group got rained out,  AF dismal, CI and sugar continue to skyrocket.. Scaling supplements back to half doses eased GERD.

Fog yesterday gave way to blue skies, it could be 60+F today, woo hoo!

Lanette in SW WA State – weight jumped from set weight of 160# to 162.5#!! Probably some edema from muscle overwork and soreness at Physical Therapy, but might also be from eating when not hungry, eating between meal snacks, eating salty nuts, eating more carbs than usual finally catching up. Step average 7784 this week, down from last week. Total activity minutes – 285. Still house walking, but without weights per physical therapist for 10-15 minutes after most meals.

Nope, I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth. Now to try to catch up

Left FL about 9 on Thurs, got to NC about 7. It appears that BK hired someone to do my job while I was gone. Only this gal can’t speak English. They want to keep her (why, if they can’t communicate with her) and they figure my job is easy so they’ve asked me to work Sun, Mon, Tues and Wed.

They’ve started the demolition of the bathroom at the condo. They’re sending me pics and keeping us updated as to how it’s going. We’ll probably have to go down in May to work with him as to the placement of the towelracks, etc.

Just saw that part of our deck is collapsing. Not sure if this means we need a new deck or not (I wouldn’t mind a new one only the $$$ is probably going to be a lot)

While we were in FL the gal who runs the ceramics place resigned. I think we should go there tonight to see what they’re doing

They forgot to call me in Jan to schedule my colonoscopy so I finally called them. I’m scheduled for May 1

    Welcome everyone new

Mary – where in the sunshine state will you be?

Rori – I don’t think South Hutchinson Island is close to us as I never even heard of it. It maybe further inland or on the West coast. We did get to see quite a few launches. We’ve read that in 2024 there were something like 120 launches. That’s almost 2 per week!!!! But we did get to seethe launch with the 4 astronauts who went to the Space Station to bring back the “stranded” guys. So sorry to hear you blacked out but glad there’s nothing seriously wrong

Carol – adorable grandkids. I was getting the “bad gateway” too so I just used Firefox for that time

Rosie – whenever I get a “friend” request from a guy, I just delete it. You can PM your “friends”

Kylia – glad your grandson is OK

Well, off to have dinner. I think we’ll go up to ceramics tonight just to see what is going on now that J is no longer there. Surely, they aren’t closing up the place, so what are they doing?

    Michele now in NC

Sprinkling cinnamon around, or putting Bay leaves near an area they come out of works too. I used to have them in a bathroom so I scattered some bay leaves around and plain cinnamon and they left.

Tina - a quick look at Google maps 'Directions' told me how to do it. Underground Piccadilly Line to King's Cross, then LNER overground train to Grantham, then bus to Harlaxton. I use the Train line app for train bookings. I did all my French ones with it in previous years. Underground you can just put your credit card on the pad at the barrier. Bus will be credit card or cash.

Awe, so cute! Glad you can see now and then! Husband had used the scooter as a trade in when we bought the chevy Spark on the coast. The dealership owner actually bought it, and it was on the showroom floor.👍🏼💟. Husband loved it, but he couldn't manage driving it those years, plus it was darn cold, definitely more for CA weather.👍🏼

@SophieRosieMom ... there were and are more than 2 people on the space station. They sent 2 more up and brought 4 down so there are now 7 people up there.

Others have spent quite a while up there. The 2 Americans were only supposed to go for a week but their "vehicle" had issues so they sent it back empty rather than risking lives.
