Hi there, I am also having the exact same problem!
MFP and Fitbit have been connected for a while but I have noticed that my steps weren't accurately being pulled from fitbit to MFP. I decided to disconnect with hopes this might help matters but now I cannot connect? I 'select all' when it comes to allowing data points but it still prompts the warning message 'select all data point'?
Has there been a resolution to OP's post?5 -
If I'm connecting MFP and Fitbit on my phone browser, it wont work, I'll get that message too (even though all the boxes are checked because I selected "all"). I have to get on my laptop/desktop web browser and it works. It's annoying but thats what I've been doing these past 2 months (disconnecting and reconnecting because MFP isn't getting data from Fitbit)4

Hey I have just started having this issue too, was there a fix? Mine also does this on the desktop version. Very annoying it worked fine yesterday.

Since the moderators apparently can't be bothered to solve this, you have to fully unsync using a desktop browser. Go into account settings, revoke access to fitbit, then go back and connect the app again.

This is a user forum. MFP tech support doesn't come here. Thus if you have technical problems do contact MFP. Yeah, there are moderators here, but they don't provide tech support. They make sure everything stays nice and friendly, and they delete spam. That's it. Contact MFP.

Currently having this issue, but when I use a desktop the same message saying "To connect your FitBit account please allow MyFitnessPal to access all FitBit data points." keeps appearing

I'm having the same problem, revoked access and unsync and now I cannot reconnect my apps as it's giving me the same message over and over again despite allow access. This is both on andriod and on PC.

Same as above, both iphone and desktop web access. Yesterday the apps stopped communicating. Followed the advice to have MFP disconnect from Fitbit. Now it won't reconnect. Google/Fitbit has given access to MFP. When I tell MFP to connnect to Fitbit I either get the message that is the title of this thread or I'm told there was an error trying to connect.

Has anyone managed to resolve this with the help of support? I get the same error regardless of is i use pc or phone. What did they do and where was the issue?

Hello,
Our apologies for any issues you may currently be experiencing with linking or syncing data from your Fitbit account to MyFitnessPal. Starting later in the day on Friday, March 21st, we started seeing an uptick in cases in our queue and have started an investigation. Reported issues include not being able to link your MyFitnessPal and Fitbit accounts, as well as data not syncing between the two if they are connected.
We will continue to update this article as more information becomes available. Please check back for further updates.
Best,MyFitnessPal Staff

This is so great to see people are keeping up with this thread!! I too experienced this issue with my Fitbit “data points” and am so happy I’m not alone 😭

Same issue! So frustrating!! Hurry up MFP!!

I wonder if there is a workaround where you can link Fitbit to strava, and then strava to MFP as my connection to strava is working ok?

Same thing happening here. Glad this has been going on with many people for days and still hasn't been fixed.

same thing for me. Started this morning, followed the advised steps multiple times and no change whatsoever. Cannot link despite ticking allow boxes. Really annoyed now as I pay for premium on both and now they can’t talk to each other?
Seriously fix it please!!!

Is MFP support normally so poor? This is the first ticket I've raised and I'm seriously unimpressed. If there was good alternative I would be planning my migration now but I haven't found one yet.

I just tried again, and it worked for me! No let's see if it syncs correctly….

Not Here. Cant agree. Sorry

Just tried sync with stridekick. That worked. So it seems there is a issue with MFP and Fitbit in particular.

To anyone who is still coming back to this thread as I have been for the past week,
I just tried googling “Fitbit not syncing with MyFitnessPal”, and one of the top links is a recent FAQ forum directly from MyFitnessPal that has answers for a bunch of reasons why it might not be syncing. For me, it was the “data points”, so I scrolled down to the section where they provided a special (??) link that allowed me to go through the process of logging into my Fitbit account (as we’ve all been trying to do), to which I then selected “allow all”, and this time it worked!!
I hope this helps some folks; if not, I can try to find another link to add to these comments!
