    I'm Chris - 75 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion...
    ...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.
    My husband and I are retired.
    I see my trainer for 60 mins three days a week and try to walk the other four days. The walking doesn't always work out.

    Hi everyone! This is my fifth restart of MFP and with gratitude to you and the UAC group, I am 3 months in on this cycle with MFP.  Thank you!!  Last challenge, I lost 10% of Challenge SW, 29 lbs. This quarter my goal is 7.7%, or 18 lbs. due to nature. Also, I plan to start strength training earnestly.  

    I look forward to seeing your updates and to celebrate your milestones with you as well!!

    Hello I'm Darlene, retired, 64-year-old. Married (Greg), one adult daughter (Allyson), and one goldendoodle (Monty). I started my journey in January 2023, and over the last two year have lost 90 pounds. I got to my goal weight in the last quarter of 2024, and now tackling the maintenance phase. There aren't too many maintenance threads on MFP, so hopped on this thread in January. I'm working on a buffer to make it so I never hit overweight again, but will be happy just to stay in the ideal BMI range the rest of my life. I weigh/check in on Wednesday and the end of the month.

    Major power outage due to ice storm in my area. Estimating 5 days of no power, or more. Today is day 3. I am now at a hotel about an hour from home. Energy company is saying another couple days before power restoration. I’ll check back in when I can

    Hi everyone!     -Celebrate progress/goals with items to invest in the journey 🏆

    Hi everyone,

    My weight is NOW 161.8 as of this morning - Oh, NOoooo! I hit a "bump in the road" and "fell off the wagon"; so today I decided to hit "RESET" by deleting all my previous weight entries and updated my starting weight to TODAY, April 4, 2025.

    I need to scale back my social networking a bit because I've been getting a little overwhelmed; so I'm going to jump off some of the boards I had joined in order to regain some time and hopefully improve my focus.

    I would love to check in from time to time to see how everyone is doing.
