140 - throw out one pair of yoga pants, and three shirts. Treat self to hair appt and buy fun earrings.
*these are shirts that shrunk too short for my hubby to wear lol

4/5: 145.6I gave myself two rest days and yesterday I def went above calories as I went into hangry mode. Excited to see the scale move today. Maybe it needed the reset and extra calories to release. I will take it. Also broke out the smart scale and seeing small drops in subcutaneous fat which is good! Got 14 days until vacation!

April 5: 160!!!My scale battery is dying. Could it be why my weight has been wonky? I can only hope so. Somehow I doubt that’s the problem though! Well. I walked for 3.5 hours today and ate under my calorie goal so at least I know I’m doing what I should be. Have to get a new battery and wait a while too to see if my weight drops.

New low! I think 2015 is probably the last time I saw this number. I had healthy days and not healthy days this week but overall I’m happy with the effort I’m putting in.

I’ve been trying to make good choices this week, and it’s paying off a tiny bit. We leave on vacation next Sunday and will be walking 12,000 steps a day easy. Need to break in my new Asics runners and boots.

Hi all 👋
I'm new here and hoping this group will help me stay positive and motivated! Bonus if I make a new friend or 2. I'm 47 and live in Ohio with my hubby and sons. Most of my physical activity centers around my kids and homestead but I plan to start taking a walk during my lunch break at work and fitting at least 1 fast paced activity in a week (skating and dancing are my faves.)
I appreciate non-scale victories so my goals reflect that.
Current weight: 214 (size 16/18)
April goal: 212 (start creating healthy habits- keep a calorie deficit every day, no late night eating and drink more water)
Ultimate goal: 140 (size 8, improve my health, more easily keep up with, and set a healthy example for, my kids)

4/7: 146.8Im okay with this. I enjoyed myself this weekend and my active calories was minimal. I also had a lot of salt yesterday after making some tortilla soup with the cold front that came through. Already did my 30 minutes of yoga and just waiting on it to warm a up a bit more before taking the dogs on a nice long walk.

4/7- 168.9Things definitely are not going in my favor still with the scale. I couldn't bear to get on the scale all weekend because I knew it would not be favorable… plus I was pretty much busy from sun up to sun down.. barely sitting down most of the day with alot of outside work, including getting multiple horses worked in preparation for the upcoming season. Yesterday, I ran out of juice about 3:00 Sunday and hit a wall energy wise. You would think with the amount of calories I likely burned all weekend I'd be down a little but nope….just up again.. makes absolutely no sense to me. I know i am not consuming more calories than I should be.
I am anxious for the new scale to arrive to help give some insight into additional factors that might be contributing so if I need to adjust something I know what to adjust because I am at a total loss.

Hi all,
joining a bit late if that’s okay but I’ll add weights from the start of April.I started early last year at 325lbs and ended March 2015 at 222.1lbs which I’m super excited about but isn’t nearly close to my goal. So, with the help of my doctor I’m doing a VLCD intermittently and exercise program. I like the idea of daily accountability because I don’t see the doctor all that often now that I’ve dropped a fair bit!

04/08 170.5Love my Monday double workouts with my trainer, no excuses allowed! Adding things to my calendar has helped but it's not the same commitment. 11 days til my vacation and I want to make the most of them so any rest days will be partial.
@HappyDonkey75 I have a Fit Index smart scale. I have not used it in a few month, maybe I'll start using that once a week.

Six more days until my 11-day vacation abroad….kind of funny but intentional that I am avoiding my gym classes so I’m not exposed to any colds/flu. I can’t chance it! Just keeping up with my 3-4 miles walks a day.
