I’m currently starting a calorie deficit I’m 98kg trying to lose 25kg I want to lose 1kg a week too but I need advice I play basketball too so um yea

Have you set up your MFP profile and set your goals? MFP will calculate a calorie target for you.
I suggest you start by logging your food. Then after a couple of weeks, you’ll have some data and will be able to identify and select one small thing to change. Implement that change. A few weeks later, make another small change.
Losing 1kg a week is on the high side of a weekly loss. With 25kg to lose, you should be able to do it for the first several months, then you will likely slow down and need to make further adjustments.

Chose a realistic weightloss goal. Hint: the highest option is only meant for people that are really obese. As you exercise you need your body to work and your muscles to remain. Losing too quickly will mean you'll lose muscle, and likely energy. Chose a lower, more realistic goal and make losing a bit of weight part of your day to day life. Log your food, best with a food scale in grams.
