Is it fat? Water? Inflammation? Not sure Trying not to freak out. The great thing about this thread is I can look back at past months and see my weight fluctuate within a range of 3lbs. As long as I hit at least one new low each month it’s headed in the right direction

4/18- 167.6Back to tracking food a bit more consistently, (what a pain right?) 1700 calories is my daily goal, 110 grams of protein. So bottom line, consistency is what I need I guess and tracking for me is a necessary evil. Honestly I eat pretty healthy but I think I tend to eat too many calories when I am not tracking. For the last month I have not tracked food. I think I just needed a break because it does get to be old … its just one more item on my already too long to do list.

Happy Easter!
We will be doing breakfast /brunch at home as opposed to going out, dealing with the crowds and who knows what quality of food/service while likely being overcharged.. (this is the reason we rarely eat out anymore because its always disappointing in those areas) I have come to get pretty persnickety about how much it is to eat out anymore when I can make it better at home for ALOT less. Maybe I am just feeling a bit frugal . I don't mind paying for a good meal and good service but those two things seem to be a rarity anymore ..

4/22- 168.8- lower body strength day, walkingstill on this unrelenting hamster wheel with the scale. Just can't seem to hit that 165 goal still. I was as close as I have come on April fools day , it must have been an april fools joke because I can't get back there.
Today was a bad day. I didn't sleep well and then woke up way too early , about something at workI got on the treadmill and got in a quick 1 mile walk. Had a protein shake and cereal with a banana after. Felt pretty tired , got through my morning meeting marathon and then took an early lunch break. Hopped on the stationary bike but didn't have energy and then suddenly within about 5 minutes of getting off the bike, I got really hypoglycemic, nausea, shaky and light headed. I ate and downed some electrolytes and apple juice in spite of the nausea and laid down for 20 minutes. I felt crummy the rest of the afternoon but by 3:00 felt well enough to do my weights since it was leg day and then even got one of the horses exercised. I managed to get through it relatively well with no further issues other than having very low energy It was all very odd , how it came on so quickly and in spite of having eaten.

April has not been great for weight loss. I think I will have to go back to calorie counting to see what’s going on. There could be various reasons such as increased water retention or exercise but it’s been such a drag ugh.
