    Margaret-

Interesting about the high calcium as producers of kidney stones. Now my one kidney has two large stones in it, but the kidney doctor said they aren't going anywhere. If they were created from calcium, it would have been when I had a hyper calcium producing parathyroid in 2018. The markers for that were high numbers in calcium, and low numbers in Vitamin D. So I had the parathyroid removed and all was well. My kidney with the offending stones has atrophied so its not even working. So I'm part zombie with a dead organ inside me!!😂. My other kidney has taken over just fine.

Excellent pick up. Bea was very hyper, but her acting in the park was very amusing. She had to go off for swimming later.

John played Monopoly with the girls. Max came home having come third in the area 4k race!!!! He is not sporty and has done zero training. He just followed someone he knew was good. Clearly a natural.

Edie started cooking cookies for sale before we left. She sells them at the track race on Wednesdays. Part of the money goes to charity, part to herself, part to pay her mum for the ingredients, and part to Bea who sells them for her!!!! She hates selling, but loves baking. They always sell out.

Because my son could not take us home, we headed off to the boutique brewery and then on to Shandiz, where we had our usual delicious meal. Such a nice thing to do ❤️ We always have a lovely chat. 😍

Caught the bus home and now about to watch some favourite TV.

I've booked to have my hair trimmed tomorrow.

Heather - you are very welcome!

So, right this second, I can put 14 minutes in on the elliptical, or I can do an allover workout by getting some more walk-behind mowing done, or by loading trash into bags to put in the clean dumpster that was dropped off this morning… decisions, decisions. Still aching from the mowing I did yesterday…

For a change, I think I'll do the wise thing and stay in the house, do the elliptical and give my body a break. Better than straining something and getting myself laid up for days. Back to the hard physical stuff tomorrow. Have to mow tomorrow anyway, as its supposed to rain Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Thinking about Allie and Ginny, and those with husbands with issues, and Rita - really hope things are going better for you, darlin'. Thinking about all of y'all.

    Love from Arkansas,
    Lisa

Well, they asked me to work Mon, Tues, Wed. Fri, and Sat. My guess is that they’re going to have W do the prep on Thurs. I felt so sorry for her. Sat. It didn’t look like she had much to do. There’s just so much bacon you can make and so many eggs. Besides, what do you do after they finish serving breakfast?

Last year we had some trees removed. The stumps were just now taken out. So we had to go and put the dirt back in the holes. Well, we got the three biggest ones done completely and three more (smaller) ones half-done, then started mowing the grass. Then it started to rain. I guess I have about ¾ of the weed wacking to do.

Katie - $20 is only money. That was a generous thing for you to do. You can look yourself in the mirror, he probably can’t.

Ginny – I do hope the doc helps you. That must be so frustrating, you never know when it’s going to start leaking

Rebecca – you reminded me of the saying “laugh and the world laughs with you; cry and you’re alone.” I remember hearing about high calcium leading to kidney stones

Sue – so glad for you that the credit card co. found the fraud

Vince promised this gal at ceramics that he’d sub for her husband while he recuperated from an operation. I reminded Vince that we have bowling Wed. night and this is Wed. afternoon. He said at the time that bowling 6 games in one day will not be a problem. Just now C (the wife) called to be sure he’d be there. I could see the look on his face that he really didn’t want to and he said “well, I’ve been bowling like crap”. As if they would care! What difference he thought that’d make, I have no idea. Well, he told her that he’d do it. So he’ll go there tomorrow afternoon and then we have bowling tomorrow night. Fortunately, that league only has 3 or 4 more weeks. But after J (the husband) gets back, C is going for an operation so she’ll need a sub. Ah...Vince made the commitment. I really don't like this league. To me, there are 4 people on a team and it seems like it takes FOREVER to get thru 3 games.

    Hello Ladies,

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. We ensured that all the kids on our unit received an Easter basket. One Kiddo said he wanted a stuffed bear and asked if the Easter bunny would know this. My friend Mary told him to go to sleep, and in the morning, he would find out. All we had were bunnies in the basket. Mary asked if I thought he would be disappointed. I remembered that I saw stuffed bears in the the prize room. So I gave one to Mary for her Kiddo. I gave my teen hers early, because she was agitated. It calmed her. I closed all my movement rings everynight.
I was swamped. I slept all day yesterday and today. I had migraines with all the thunder storms. I couldn't sleep well last night off and on. I took all my meds, then migraine tea and cold mask. Then I finally slept without waking to pain. This week I work Sunday(past), Thursday, and Friday. Saturday, I am off for a wedding in Hattiesburg. DH is flying in to be my date. We will then spend the night in the hotel and drive back to Jackson in the morning. Then I am off next Sunday. I will work on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and follow the same schedule the next week. My Friends daughter was in the hospital. I found out when I took her daughter's meds out of the tube station. I got to visit with her and her daughter. I was too busy to talk to them for long. When I got home Monday, my best friend Baby Suko's mom passed away at 9:00 am. I thought she had more time, but I am glad she didn't suffer long.

I loved all of the Easter pictures and the beautiful green house of flowers that Margaret posted.

Michelle, maybe you should help "W" out by telling her what she could do. That way she can feel useful and apart of the team. You can point where she is needed. They should train her.

Heather I love the Easter decor and the painted cards.

Lisa, I hope your friend is doing okay during her time of grief.

Take care everyone. I hope you all have a great night rest.

    XO,

    Mo in Mississippi

Tracey Love the HappyPea card. Have a HappyPea day!

I would add to that sentiment Barbie. If you don't own it you are no longer responsible for it. It was such a great feeling giving those boxes of research to someone who could use them. I just gave a neighbor some children's aprons that her daughter could wear. They were in a box of my school collection. Nice to see things end up where they belong and no longer in my sea of stuff.

Drank 8.5 glasses of liquid yesterday. Still waking at 4 as a consequence but no LEG Cramps in the morning that has been a problem for some time.

I learned that higher urea numbers could be a sign of kidney stones. Kidney stones can also cause UTI. I have no sign of a UTI. I have had one years ago so I know what it feels like to get one. I plan to do what I can to keep from getting one. MORE liquids and less animal protein more plant protein, low sugar, and yes you guessed it Fiber, Fiber, Fiber!

Are you sure it is too small? My guess is they want it fitting tight to do its job.

I hope you get some relief soon. You've been through the wringer.

A piece of one of my teeth broke off today. No pain, but I will have to get it seen to. Boo! I had my bi-annual check up and hygienist appointment earlier this month.

Had my car serviced today, and it needs a small part replaced. I was supposed to have my MOT on 30 April, but the repair shop couldn’t fit me in for the repair until 9 May, so I had to go online and change my test date. It was surprisingly easy to do. New test is on 28 May.

I so understand the pain of not getting what you hoped you get, of stuff of your Dad's. I was down in CA when my Mom passed. The terms were that she would let her husband live in the home for a year, then it would be sold. My step father did just that. During that year, I think I paid for about 3 trips up to go thru our childhood home, (some with kids in tow, other times without. My sisters and step father weren't "ready" to do it. Then I got a call from my eldest sister saying the house needed to be cleared, and what did I want. I got a couple things, my Moms rocking chair, a bowl that is really old, but my sisters got whole rooms of furniture. The downside of living away, is that you aren't really included. It was frustrating, but I have photos, and stuff in a hope chest, and that's all I really need. Over the years my eldest sister has given me odds and ends, guilt maybe? She knew I got the short end of the stick. The kicker was when the house sold, proceeds were split up into 4 payments. Each of us three daughters, and my step father. So I paid off some bills, and had a lot still in savings. Turns out by the time I got mine, everyone had processed their check and there wasn't actually the amount the check was written for. Some mathematical error on the executors part. So my check bounced. And for that amount, the bank can't just settle it, and run it thru again, it has to be reissued. I had $100 on overdraft charges, which my step father paid. Uuugh! What a deal!

I hope your dear husband can adjust to less and less visits to his Mother. It will take time. Hugs!
