If you need to feed a large crowd for a party or club gathering, chile con carne with some (or all) of the mince replaced with vegetarian quorn. Also replace some beef mince with pork mince.

Well what do we know of price action of food. Fruits for dessert. Fruits run from 0,60 cents to 4.00 depending on the fruit you're purchasing. Compared to cookies and ice-cream. Vegetables are a great snack money saving. Try making your potatoe chips. my favorite is making salads with different protein added. Protein to add to salad. Fish, beef, chicken, shell fish without the shell. Love me some colliefower turn it into rice. Than I add protein and more vegetables to. Hopefully this can help with saving money. Beef can be pricey, so I been eating more turkey. Fish can get pricey. Find packs of fish. Or a huge long fish and cut it down. 3 to 4" wide.

what country? Would make a big difference? And what for: everyday and all meals or a feast of sorts?
former: oats with a stiff yogurt, raisins and whatever fruit is cheap. Slices of cheap bread with butter and whatever choice is cheap. Various curries for dinner, or pasta with tinned tomatoes, onion, whatever is cheap. Slowly build up a small selection of spices. Buy meat saturday afternoon as it’s often reduced before the weekend, but keep it to a minimum. Eggs are dead cheap here. Tofu as well.

my last bunco, I threw several chicken breasts in the crockpot in the morning.
I got several taco “kits” and dumped the seasoning and salsa in the pot.
also made a pot of Allrecipes No Fry Refried beans on my other crockpot to cover my vegetarian friends, and for a side for the restBy dinner time, all I had to do was shred, bake the shells, mash the beans, and put out shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes? Shredded cheese, and avocado slices.
Everyone was happy.

depends how many people and what the budget is. i make and donate meals for about 30-40 teens for a homeless and runaway shelter . mac n cheese and also tacos are popular. they love chili and that is always affordable so i buy shredded mexican cheese and sour cream to top the chili with and also give doritoes because its such a treat for them . there is never a drop left from that.
