Please join us starting on 6/20 for JUST GIVE ME 10 DAYS, when we will begin Round 300!
For this 300th round “anniversary” it has been suggested that we each choose to do something to celebrate. For example, 300 minutes of walking or 300 jumping jacks or whatever 300 minutes with a good book.
Anyone can join us at anytime during the round.
Join us! If we stay mindful we can do this, you can do this.
Welcome back past members, welcome new members, let's keep each other accountable for another 10 days!
Here is what you do: Post your daily weight and add little comments along the way of how your day went. You have only one hour to edit your post. Post everyday to let us know how you're doing! Copy and paste the days in your response--tell us how much you lost and other non scale victories (NSV) you'd like to share. Make the board your own - track what is important for YOUR JOURNEY.
FOR NEWBIES - I find it easiest to copy the dates to a document or note in my device and edit it each morning. Then copy and paste to the message board. MFP will return you to the spot on the board where you left off on your previous visit which is nice to know if you like to scan all of the posts.

Just Give Me 10 Days – Round 300
June 20 - 29, 202563 year old female, 5’5”. I am married, semi-nomadic (we live in three states, Mass, Maine, Florida).
SW WW Sept 29, 2001 - 168.8 (initially lost 29.8, became staff, then weight up and down 18 years with low of 126.8)SW MFP Sept 14, 2020 – 153 (lost 40, then stress took off another 2.2 lb with low of 120.8, then stress became gain)

Since my weight is slowing coming back down, I’ve added back in history details INCLUDING my maintenance numbers. In January, it seemed silly including my goal was to maintain 124 – 126 when I was weighing 138. Those maintenance numbers are in sight now. Just need to get there.
Round 300 – My PlanSo two rounds ago, I wanted to declare that I was going to channel the UAC that I was in back in 2020, when I also first started here (was doing both). An aspect of the UAC was 20 minutes of intentional exercise each day. No constraints on what, just that it is intentional exercise. No saying at the end of the day “oh, I when grocery shopping, that counts”. Cleaning could count (not for me) as long as there was the intent of exercise. Regarding my declaration two rounds ago, life went to heck, again, before I declared intent. I’m taking the opportunity with “300” to do a variant. 30 minutes a day of intentional exercise. No constraints. Does not have to be contiguous. Can be three sets of 10 minutes throughout the day. Having that option got me through some busy days while in the UAC. I would get on the exercise bike for 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes at night. Sometimes that fits when there is no longer period of time available. Good luck all!

6/20- 177.8 So I did mention I was hung over yesterday and ate French toast, pizza and cookies right???
Feeling human again this morning and have absolutely no desire to repeat that level of drinking. But when you are dressed up super trashy and a midget wrestler asks you to do shot -YOU DO IT!!!
I got nine hours of sleep and I’m up and ready for Friday morning boot camp at the gym. I’m ready to crush this day. I’ve got my 5am feels going and it’s round 300.
300 seconds is 5 minutes. 30 minutes each day of the round is 300. So what extra challenge will will I do??? I want it to be a celebration not a punishment. I want it to be a reward and also part of a goal.
I am going to practice my belly dancing moves for five minutes each day. I go every week but I don’t practice between classes. With summer break coming up, I want to get in the habit of practicing. And I really love dancing but am bad at it.
That’s it. A simple 300 goal for me but I know it will be a challenge to make space for it each day.5 -

Busy few days ahead, houseful of company. Joint graduation party at DD#2's house for DS and DGD #1, family coming from all over; some will staying with me until Sunday, when we take off for Cape Cod. Looks like the rain has finally blown through and we have hazy, hot summer weather to look forward to.

6/29I am trying something new and have signed up for a weight loss coaching group - it’s kind of a self paced course and I am hoping it can unlock something in myself that helps me deal with my barriers (self made or otherwise) so far it’s great she encourages you to tailor your own system and do what feels right for you. Every morning I am listening and journaling

6/20 - 216 - Day one. I haven't really worked out since Covid. Once they shut down the gyms, I just kind of stopped working out. I tried to get back into it but the motivation was lost. Now all of the weight lost is back and hoping to do this with a community of people will help motivate me so it doesn't feel so lonely. Just finished breakfast and about to go workout in my garage.

Been checking back on previous days and noticed that as long as my carbs are low and cals aren’t crazy I’m still getting pretty good losses. So I brought my cals back up to 1600 and left my carbs goal at 15% .still dieting, losing and tread mill-walking but “working out” is pretty minimal. I need my workout partner to come back home from vacation!!5 -
6/20 - 166.7 - Although I ended on a high due to eating out last round, I've since dropped that back off. This may also be due to TOM finally arriving. Skipped the gym/cardio today. I've been feeling weak all week due to TOM and it's a rough month, it seems. I'm feeling quite lethargic and there's quite a bit of pain so I'm listening to my body and taking it easy. I slept an extra 1 1/2-2 hours and will try to do some home accessory work. I have a new program that's aimed at "combat" skills such as the Wheel (not sure what that is yet), handstand, and the splits. I wanted to increase mobility alongside strength to better set myself up for aging and this seems best. I've changed up my workout program to include some of the strength aspects suggested by the program. The skills are things I need to find a way to incorporate still as this is a recent addition to my toolbox. The Home Accessories is an added workout I created in my lifting app which addresses the pushups and all the core work that I can do at home. My gym time is limited by opening (5:30 am) and the start of work (7am) so anything I can do at home I've put in the Home Accessories. I won't push myself through all of them in full unless I'm feeling good, but I do know movement is beneficial in helping with cramps and other PMS symptoms. No food is logged for today since I'm not sure the plan for tonight. I think we'll probably eat out since BF didn't say anything about dinner and nothing has been pulled out to thaw for cooking. I guess I'll be flexing my mindfulness muscle today!

I will make an appointment with the breast surgeon today and hopefully be able to have a conversation with her and get more information in laymans terms. The nurse practitioner just said cancer present, the labs say DCIS Nuclear Grade 3.

On a few occasions I may substitute lowering my calories by 300 for a day to shake things up. I will take it on a day-to-day basis.
